Im not using it more than 70%* (Raw capability)
FreeSync is 70Hz now (OC availbe up to 75Hz when i get new DP Cable that support 34GB/s) so im limited in FPS to max 70-75.
When i get new Monitor (in time i will) it will be 120-144Hz HDR FreeSync2 one.

Im Happy :D and i have no regerets (even with Vega VII on the horizon ;))
    Performance is here for sure.

    * 70% is when Playing Heavy Games: ME:A, AC:O, Wolf2, TombRaider etc.
40-50% when playing normal/light games: BFV/BF1, NFS, Forza etc.

You can easily configure Power Draw in Power Limiter (WattMan) +10% Gives 290tW, -10% ~218tW etc (Dual BIOS is set to 264tW).
For some Games i have -25% and i see ~30tW when playing TES Legends ir MtG Arena :D (Yup like watching BR)

For other -5%, -15%, Depends on Gaming Scenario (Optimisation etc.)
For 3Dmark is set at +25% (all my 28k scores are w/25%)

So IMO Vega uArch can be very Power Efficient, when set^up right.

My 34" 3440x1440 Acer is Freesync, while my Sammie LC49HG90DME is a 32:9 Freesync 2 monitor, hence my preference for AMD.;)

If you need to cry because Radeon 7 wins over your new GPU in few games on 4K, Ultra settings. Do it in corner.
Calling it fake after reading Desclaimer in video... Or is that you did not even read it? There are official numbers from AMD. They did pick 4K, Ultra and particular games for reason.
Do not cry, at 1080p Radeon 7 may perform around 2070.

Next time, do not buy GPU which gives you reason to feel regret moment another GPU is shown.
    = = = =

I'll reserve my judgement for benchmarks done by HH. I am very interested in 1080p comparison. There is a work done in between Vega 64 and Radeon 7. Let's see what they changed/fixed.

I too am very interested in the results. I have a feeling that this card maybe a bit CPU bound at 1080p. As i would expect that this will excel art 1440p and 4k quite nicely.

    1440p tests for me.
IMhO When Guru3D and others Test it, it will be even better than this one ;)
Also tests will be conducted with RyZEN 2700X 4.2GHz or 9900K 5Ghz (4 cores are not enough for Vega IMO)
and with new driver (not Alpha)

Keep it cool bros :p it's only HW....

    Note:
Vega VII is small as it can be ;)
(Substract the HBM2 Stacks and it will be less than 180nm GPU !)

Graphics processors (video cards) of the PowerColor trademark, models:
    AXVII 16GBHBM2-3DH,
    AXHII 16GBHBM2-2D2H,
    AXVII 16GBHBM2-2D2HD,

Here's a comparison to some of the current Power Color line up. If this is true it looks like we will get a Blower Version, Red Dragon, and Red Devil at least.

AXRX VEGA 64 8GBHBM2-2D2H/OC - Red Devil OC 3 Fan
    AXRX VEGA 64 8GBHBM2-3DH - Blower Fan
    AXRX VEGA 64 8GBHBM2-3DHW - Liquid Cooled
AXRX VEGA 64 8GBHBM2-3DHE - Blower Limited Edition Silver
    AXRX VEGA 56 8GBHBM2-2D2HD/OC - Red Dragon

Even though AMD denied there will be supply problems, have a feeling the R VII will be out of stock more often than in stock. And when that happens its price will shoot up way over MSRP. Demand will be higher than expected imo (incl from many disgruntled Nvidia owners). Not sure AMD is seeking to make much money out of R VII (rumored high production costs), but rather just to have a decent high end card in its lineup to remind everyone they are still to be taken seriously in the high end.

Quite the opposite, the VII a modified MI50 card for gaming. These chips are already in production, and so the fabs are already in full gear. So they should have plenty in stock for launch.

FFXV benchmark version and results from that now also using Radeon VII, also one of the comments had the 4k test results in it embedded below. At around 27% above a Vega 64 GPU from what I'm reading.

EDIT: Also from comments and leaks such as the Asus GPU names it seems it will be reference only at launch but third party PCB and cooler designs later on in the year.
And comments seem positive to the new stock cooler though I suppose it won't beat water and blocks for that seem to be happening with EK looking into inquiries and requests also from comments from the Reddit thread above.

EDIT: Hmm so a tuned Vega 64 without throttling and some overclocking at 5% up to maybe 8% or even 10% faster if memory and GPU core allows for it along with a reduced voltage but then the VII could be similarly overclocked perhasp...will be interesting to see more results on how that checks out. :)

EDIT: Though maybe more so from user testing than professional reviews if the key thing is once again going to be almost max voltage on stock and then +50% power limit and seeing where the GPU ends up for overclock results whereas with some tweakage the boost clock might be possible to get a bit higher before it throttles or have it fluctuate less between p6 and p7 extremes.

Maybe, just speculative until it launches in a week or so or at least on paper, availability and pricing is going to be curious to see too.

More benchmark results and other titles and benchmark software are also going to be useful to get a more complete performance overview.

EDIT: Ah so there are 3DMark results in the article too via the Firestrike test.

XFX is the only manufacturer I know that's allowing to put a waterblock on the card (you have to register it and ask them before)
it's also written in their warranty for north america :
    http://xfxforce.com/en-us/support/xfx-warranty

"XFX understands that some enthusiasts may choose to replace the original component with their own cooling solution.
To support the gaming community, it is required that you contact XFX prior to any modifications so that we can update your profile and product registration to avoid potential issues with warranty support. "

Let the 8k(4320p/4800)p roll. Gonna love this one. 8k FTW and yes even 4k FTW.

    Cant wait for results :).

That reminds me something here, kinda off topic.

Can AMD's VSR registry be changed like the ones in nvidia's DSR? you know like using DSR Calculator, changing your monitors SmoothDataScaling and such?

Reason why, I was looking into this card but I don't know if you can get into vsr and change whatever Resolution you wish or can you? Heard many people have problems with vsr to get their desired resolution to work.

Looks great, looking foward to the card.

it can, and its easier, pretty much any resolution that is the correct aspect ratio(same as native), divisible by 8, and less than 4x your native resolution ( 1920x1080 monitor ->3820x2160, 2560x1440 monitor --> 5120x2880 ect.)
