Yep i know, but i like in game osd. Afterburner is the easiest way to have it.

OK, i like to play game not over-watch OSD

if your main reason to use afterburner is the OSD,
why not just use RTSS standalone for that and overclock with either wattman or trixx?

My game performance took a huge dump in Rally DiRT with this driver where I can no longer enable the advanced graphical settings (advanced ambient occlusion, blending, fog, etc.) and maintain 60fps at 1080p.

Yep, something is very wrong with 17.6.1

I did a safe mode DDU uninstall this time and 17.6.1 no longer installs completely - Radeon Settings is missing coz the my GPU is no longer identified hence Device Manager reports the default vga adapter after installation. AMD is losing it?

I returned to 17.5.2 and all is fine again

I can replicate issue with MPC-BE.

I'm on GCN 1.0 in case that matters.

Performance is also kind of shi*ty in CEMU. I had to use the 17.3.2 DLL to make it work like it used to. Looks like we're getting punished for Vega :p

ZERO change in performance in DiRT Rally for me with these drivers.

You should check your base configuration, something seems to be wrong.

Actually this driver iteration performs well across the whole board, not a single game out of ~30 AAA titles that has any problems ... testing about 10-20 min per game.

@PRMinister: CEMU (v1.8.0b) and Dolphin (DX11/DX12 & OpenGL) both max out 60 fps LOCKED (respectively 30FPS depending on game title) for me with this driver. No change to previous driver.

These are super stable drivers, so I suggest anybody with problems to properly clean up old drivers / reset all possible settings etc.

In Dirt Rally i have little boost, say 2-3FPS average.
    Good one :D

I have disabled DVR and Game Mode in WinX CU, also im not using OSD of any kind when Playing (only when testing) to maximize Latency :D

Of course besides DX12/Vulcan Games i have Always SweetFX in-Game ON (ReShade 2.0.3 with SweetFX 2.0 with HighPass_settings.h)

Which CEMU game does that for you? What's your system and CEMU config? I need to see if I've screwed up something in mine.

Any chance to try Mario Kart? I haven't tried Zelda, but I did have to throw in the 17.3.2 DLL for performance reasons with CEMU.

For me it works without any custom DLL. @60fps
And the settings dont matter actually.
I tried with Vsync , without...
    GPU buffer low/medium/high...
    Fullscreen & Windowed...

Sometimes in scene change / menu click there is a "hickup" ... but nothing that would affect gameplay.

This driver might be the best one to beat some old records on Fury. Got about ~150 graphics points in Time Spy on 1100mhz 1.25v.
Probably could go for 5600 graphics score with some winter breeze cooling :d Not gonna try in summer though.

So you're getting 60fps on Mario Kart, like real 60fps? Not on the menu, but when gaming?

    Yes

What are your measured FPS with and without the old DLLs?
