As in what? If you are talking about missing features, you can use an older CCC to get access to them.

Well if you getting GSOD then that means you are on a Windows 10 Insider Build....can't really point a finger at or even attempt to blame AMD much less MS.

    GSOD is Insider Editions only.

What topping method? Just grab an old copy of CCCSlim and save it somewhere, and run as needed. No need to mess with a proper install.

Sapphire reference RX480 8GB, screen stays blank after the monitor recovers from sleep mode (monitor sleep mode not PC sleep mode). No such issue on previous 17.3 drivers

Better tip is to not let monitor go to sleep.Better turn off the monitor.

Turning off the monitor does the same, display stays blank when turning the monitor back on (Monitor Model: Iiyama G-Master GB2488HSU-B2 )

This issue does not happen with 17.3 drivers and those before.

Hey @Xul Aethyr, could you send a link for that version of polaris bios editor my way? Tried 1.4.1 and the timings and mhz values don't seem right.

About "finding" what exact timings they are, take a look at OhGodADecode.

dont think my display port is displaying 4:4:4 pixel format. because when I switch to hdmi, the color looks great. images seem to show more detail.
windows gui look more color toned with hdmi compared to display port.

I finally tweaked my card to be completely stable.. the screen no longer turns off at random when playing video games :>

These are my Wattman settings... I kind of wish Asus would release another tweaked bios for this card because it is far from stable when everything is default.

That's another Asus mid/low range card I've seen doing this the past few years. I believe the older one was a 260, I might be wrong.

    I am using the DisplayPort

    EDIT:
I think I finally figured what was wrong.

The Fan settings were not being applied within wattman causing my GPU to overheat overtime.

I installed ASUS GPU Tweak, set up a custom fan profile and so far so good, no freeze when leaving PC and recovering from monitor sleep. I will have to try trixx as I hasve a ref Sapphire RX480 card
