Can confirm perfectly working on powercolor 290, win10 x64
literally says nothing w/o gaming performance on latest games or current. No to be a jerk but..... I have reverted back to 16.11.5-NOV25 and everything is fine.
Thats very possible because:
FreeSync started working the moment I uninstalled 16.12.1, and without rebooting. In that very same boot, with the same driver from 16.12.1 driver still loaded.
But without all the accompanying clutter.
Then I rebooted and that same 16.50.something driver was loaded again, but again without all the clutter including ReLive recording. And FreeSync still worked.
Not completely, depend the soundcard, i have a " WHat u hear" on mine, so i can select it, it will record the game.
You forgot to mention you only use 1 monitor
it seems that it's not ReLive per se, but rather...
FreeSync simply gives up after PC has been up for a certain period and perhaps PC/display have gone through number of sleep cycles :bang:
reboot fixes this and FS works again
Can anyone tell me how to fix 300/150 MHz bug? I'm on an Sapphire Vapor-X R9 270X / Crimson 16.11.5 drivers.
Freesync worked normal for me with Relive driver.
Memory clocks were what were broken.
I run both of my side monitors off a 9800GTX.
I put it in to try and see if it fixed the memory clock issue.
It did not.
So I went back to 16.11.5 and zero issues. Can OC memory like normal with AB on the fly again.
Ill sadly wait for next Relive driver or hotfix for R9 290s.
Relive driver works perfect on my HD 7850 in my HTPC.
Sleep messes with 290 vram clocks. they are stuck at 150mhz after resuming from sleep.
Mine were stuck at 150 all times after a fresh install of 16.12.1, even after a reboot.
When I installed it on top of 16.11.5, it would be normal but after a while of gaming, the game would crash and memory be stuck at 150.
Overclocking vram causes all sort of issues with this driver with 290's. In my case flickering at 144hz.
At least you can do something with your memory on ReLive.
Whats a kicker is my friend I sold my Fury X to says its working flawless for him.
removing the adapter from Device manager should reset GPU without the need for a reboot
or use devcon.exe to the same effect
Wow, this is a really good driver..
- disabled ULPS and Fallout 4 runs butter-smooth
- as does the Skyrim Special Edition..
actually, that's two ticks for Bethesda :eyes:
PS: FarCry Primal looks totally amazing..!!
While trying to Stream anything with GCN 1.0 on Youtube the stream becomes glitchy and loses audio video synchronization after a few minutes.
Trying to open up Google Chrome by Alt Tabbing during a stream results in a hard lock up.
ReLive is only flawless for Fiji and Polaris, I guess.
Summary: If you're a proud owner of a HD 7000 series or the R7/R9 200/300 series, avoid this driver like the plague, specially if you're someone who streams.
It works perfectly here for both streaming and recording. Try Edge to see if it crashes.
Proud owner of R9 380 , 16.12.1 works great so far!
For me it's fine..
Altough, just like the crimson release, it was launched very buggy, and I bet next updates will be to focus almost exclusivelly on bugfixing of the known issues about the driver itself and the Relive Recorder (just like it happen for crimson).
There are no important games coming out in the next weeks, aside from the Resident Evil 7 Demo..
Recording is fine. Streaming is not.
Crimson Relive driver with old CCC (15.11.1) for color, brightness control etc
For me record works fine.
