    Oh Ok.
What kind of scores are you looking at? From 12500 to 13500?

    I believe the issue
    • Some desktop productivity apps may experience latency when dragging or moving windows.
Is the issue I've been complaining about for awhile. Like I was saying it was with certain apps and programs while others were fine. I'm so glad they finally have acknowledged it and is a known bug. Now the waiting game for it to be fixed really begins.

What tweak are you talking about? I find 17.7.2 works just fine with Wolf2 as is. Is there some way to use newer vulkan stuff with our old drivers? Pretty much ALL the newer drivers CTD my games for a huge number of rx580 cards....

Yes I'm finding it requires 2x switching attempts but as you say there's no longer that annoying issue requiring a reboot :)

I am talking just the graphics scores...not overall.

just look at the graphics in this comparison. Yes there is a slight difference in my gpu clocks speed but not enough to make near a 1000 point gain in the graphics score.

Not bad drivers, but they locks up again with Enhanced Sync & Dying Light - The Following. Enhanced Sync makes games noticeable smoother on RX 580. Reverting back to 17.11.1 WHQL and thanks to AMD for good whql set.

Good day, I have a doubt with the latest amd drivers, it turns out that they are betas but when I install them they are signed WHQL, I have installed the 17.11.2 and with the command DXDIAG reads them as WHQL, my card is a Shappire nitro RX580 8gb You will know why this happens, regards.

I have a R9 Fury....is the FreeSync at 60hz bug fixed? It's broken after 17.9.3 and with the new driver, it only works at 72hz.

I found a way to solve many driver-game related issues:
Stop (disabling services is not needed) the AMD External Events service.

Works for SW BF2 (no keyboard input bug)
    And stuttering in PUBG
    and many other bugs.

    UPD.
Use it only if game is not enjoyable.
Yes i have this on Auto/Enabled all the time, but this Teak keeps PUBG enjoyable for some ppl.

Well, I installed the 11.2 from the 17.9.3 and actually ended up with a slightly lower score. Went back to 9.3 and all is well again. :)

Don't do this if using freesync though. It depends on it.

Stopping that service stopped the GPU Workload toggle from doing anything, no matter how many times I told it to switch from Graphics to Compute it did nothing until I restarted that service.

What is the graphics / compute switch for ? Does it speed up gaming / compute workloads ? Does it allow lower voltages for games / compute ?

It's been asked and answered a few times in the various driver threads, basically compute is for the graphics card to compute stuff like mining etc, when I mine with it set to compute it's twice as fast as when set to graphics.

Does it mean the card got 100% boost in mining, or it's the same performance that was before the switch was introduced. Meaning -it got 2x slower in mining when set to graphics?

I always read driver threads, but I didn't see people talking about any boost in performance from this switch.

Does it do anything other than complicate your life is what I'm asking :D
