Newer drivers bring performance improvements too.

It'll be interesting to see how the driver manages things, and it might even be a good thing.

OC hunting isn't really worth it mate. Sometimes even an underclock/undervolt is a better option. Never seek maximum clocks. Instability, Temps and Consumption, all three always tell the truth.

Maby try Test Mem 5 with @1usmus profile to check if You're stable with Your system?
Here, also load @1usmus .cfg into it (located in BIN dir.) ;)

    Note:
As for BFV it's sometimes (usually after 'some' patch) become unstable.
Good to have it -> not run as admin + Disable Full screen Opti + change Hi DPI and tick last overdrive box on bottom....

Guys, the GPU oc problem is present at everything I'm doing.

It just started with the driver release for BFV EA and it's here ever since, for every game-bench-test.

I know I can go a bit lower and be completely stable, that's what I did.

I just mentioned the fact (for my system) that if they've already implemented some type of auto voltage (over/under) regulation in the latest drivers, it seems that is causes some problems (at least for me, for the time being).

I'm just waiting for the big Dec release, to start from scratch and even do a clean install of Win. I also hoped for a newer BIOS-AGESA code for my mobo (X370 Taichi), in order to completely tune my rig afterwards, but it seems that Asrock won't even admit there is a need for such a thing.

Thanks for your tips and suggestions. I will definitely take them under consideration.

Still no news on the big one.

It's usually a Tuesday they release drivers, so we might get a surprise tomorrow..

Next week probably we will get the big update, not this week in my opinion. Half of the month for the best drivers for 2018 and also one week before Christmas seems legit.

NDA for Adrenaline 2019 should expire on the 13th if this info is accurate. :)

    Which I think is Friday...how fitting. :D
...And nope it's Thursday. Well almost Friday the 13th but not quite, oh well at least nothing should go wrong. :p

EDIT: Though the driver itself could be released on Friday though probably next week but we'll see I suppose.
(Or it could land when the NDA expires really, we shall see.)

12.1 Branch needs more mV acros the board.
    1690MHz was 1.087v now 1.094v, next
HBM2 OC is better on this one, can Hit 1175MHz at 975mV easy
(note: depends on Game/Engine of course)
