At least they don't make mistake since pre-adrenaline era that Beta/Optional are True Beta with their own "AMD" signature, that's why some games with Cheat Protection refuses to run.

Btw, we only install the driver once in a month, so that's normal for monthly updated driver.

Here(Win 10 + 5600XT) Photoshop seems not to like 21.7.1 or 21.7.2
and DxO NIK Collection v4.1.1.0 does not like Enterprise 21.Q2.1
and anything from 21.6.1 or above, at every reboot a MSG appears:
"Your hardware settings have changed. Please reboot your computer for
these changes to take effect."


Now using the 21.6.1(WHQL) and changed the atieclxx.exe & atiesrxx.exe with the
ones from Radeon PRO Software for Enterprise 21.Q2.1 (July 27, 2021) and it fixed.

 

Change windows automatic driver installation settings to "not install" sounds like windows was installing a uwp driver over your official set

 

What ever you do wu still messes things up. Best way is to just disable internet connection while you are installing the drivers.

 

No it has nothing to do with Windows installing drivers. I get that message if I enable SAM in radeon control panel.
But after restart it does not appear again. I think it's a bug and it's trying to enable SAM at every reboot...
If you have Rebar and/or above 4G enabled in BiOS just disable them and restart.

Set ReBAR to Disable on BIOS, then you can use 21.6.x or 21.7.x

But because of Photoshop I will stay with the 21.6.1 WHQL.

 

Not sure if it's recommended, but I do that too. I use AMD's Cleanup Utility though instead of DDU: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/gpu-601

 

Radeon settings can export profile and settings so you can import them after the clean istallation.

I use DDU because it is like a routine for me now but factory reset option in the radeon installer does the same thing

 

Since we have clean install option there is no need for ddu anymore (but im still using it) lol

My routine takes less than 5 mins so i just stick with it, the factory reset will take a min or 2 off that but whats a few mins? hehe

 

One important thing is, now, with ddu and radeon -clean install, I do not need safe mode anymore for ddu. Leftovers are getting wiped out by radeon setup.

Did AMD driver team know about problem with last driver and Arma 3 because if you use ATOC in game video setting there a problem with missing tree leaves and grass/foliage

 

I vaguely recall something being leftover from an older driver even after using the Factory Reset option during the new driver install, but can't recall what (maybe game profiles?). But whatever I noticed, that's when I started using AMD's cleanup tool, I think at some point with the last 5 driver releases.

huh no such an issue because you have secure boot disabled, so windows can accept a digital signature from Advanced Micro Devices Inc. Secure boot needs the signature from Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility Publisher.
