No issues here. While installing the drivers make sure there is no internet connection or ms update screws it up

I have the identical issue with my setup. GPU RX 6800 XT, CPU Ryzen 7 5800x, Aorus x570 board, 64gb RAM, 2gb SSD, 1000 w PSU. I use a Valve Index for VR gaming. In VR titles games stutter badly with any driver above 21.2.3. Non-VR games played on my computer monitor are fine with newer drivers, but I have to DDU and revert to 21.2.3 in order to play VR games.

    Thanks for reporting that!!

Did you test the driver he suggested?
    https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/amd-radeon-software-uwp.437511/page-17#post-5929835

My second issue if this driver doesn't fix it is the Remuxes version issues or Bluray issue Encoding.

Does anyone have the same versions of movies encoded like I have to see if the new drivers fix that?

    Mkvmerge version 0.30 and lower

Guys guys...since doing things here I do not have any stutter issues in VR, no matter driver(except one version of UWP, do not remember which now, it caused massive stutter in freaking Beat Saber ffs).
And I started doing this while back on 2080S, and worked fine with 6800xt too.
This, plus refresh rate switcher just for consistence sake, I mean, just switching from 120/144Hz to 60Hz sometimes helps.
AAAAND fixed GPU clocks of course. I had my set 2400/2500 range all the time, 2400 minimum clock.

His information coincides with mine, there is a connection to MPO's(as a power saving mechanic).

I tried it, but same issue again. Took the LAN cable out of PC, DDU-ed drivers, installed 21.7.1, restarted PC, put the internet cable inside, but still the same issue.

EDIT: Think I managed to fix it.

Wow, I've got serious slowdown in RE Village cutscenes. Could it be linked to this driver ?

thanks, not just me then. Although I'm back on Win10 for the time being until Win11 is officially released. I had my fun testing it out.

GPUZ says its enabled and its enabled in the BIOS so this seems like a driver bug.

Also, now I am now using the lastest UWP driver v30.0.13000.22008 however this doesn't have a compatible control panel for Win10 so I have no panel at the moment. I just use MSI AB for overclocking and fan control. Don't really need the panel, these drivers are way better for me.

Maybe you could try them out, they have a compatible control panel for Win11. Just DDU current drivers, then manually install these UWP drivers through device manager and restart. Once rebooted Windows Store will automatically install control panel for you.

I belive what the problem was that I had device installatation settings in windows set to yes (recommended). Even tho I had internet cable plugged out and used DDU, installed drivers and after that plugged LAN cable back in, problem would still occur. When I disabled device installation settings (switched to no), problem seems to have solved itself. Even tho it was enabled before, I did not had radeon software don't match issue till last few drivers. Can't really remember when it started, but it wasn't that long ago. Most important is it works now. Restarted PC a few times and it always opens up normally now.

Could be related to denuvo protection as it's being used during cutscenes.

Tried with the EMPRESS version, but same issue ^^ Cutscenes are really slow, will try to roll back drivers ... !

Oh seems I found out the issue, but can't solve it. My power limit slider is automatically reverting to -75% in few seconds whatever the setting I apply ! WTF ... Any idea guys ?

I already DDU and revert to latest whql with no success. :(

Bit of a stretch but run MSI Afterburner and from settings under AMD Compatibility select "Delete autosaved startup settings" and apply.

Reboot and retry. Maybe some leftover still present in registry.

Its the Depth of Field Effect. Like is bugged. When is used in cutscenes it takes a lot of gpu usage.
