They're just discussing, mate. I don't feel anything was being directed toward you specifically :)

No ENB functionality still with these so back to 21.2.3. It's just as well for the moment though because as other have reported these are very TDR happy on Polaris.

Very interesting. I hate to say it with a long face but, good find lol

You do realize that you posted results of 21.4.1 in a 21.5.2 driver thread? How about you try the newest driver version and post results of that.
Or, post that in the 21.4.1 thread if that's the driver you prefer.

    Hmm...

I'm insulting you, huh?! Fact is, you're doing quite well of that on your own, Lil dude.

Anyone else have the issue where AMD control panel won't save overclocking settings after reboot??????

It seems to revert back to defaults even after I saved the profile. Anyway to prevent this?

Only fix is to install Radeon Software 21.2.3, i know that not the answer you looking for but that the only fix as in 6/3/2021 until AMD fix the issue.

Sometimes it happens not on every boot. Try making a new profile dont use one from the previous drivers.

well its happened now on every single boot, about 5 or 6 boots now since i dialed in the OC. It also resets the fan to zero RPM and my custom fan profile too.

Also this isn't a profile from previous drivers I only just started to push an overclock on the latest 21.5.2

I have read somewhere that you need to disable fastboot, I already have it disabled in Windows so I may check the BIOS and see if its enabled there too. Apparently it's an old fix so I'm not sure it relates to my issue but it might work.

Yeah its an old fix but it still happens rarely. Not saving on every boot is just strange. This driver is very finicky from what i see.

This set seems to have a bug where OBS Studio will only capture a black screen (+cursor) when recording desktop with Display Capture mode.

Only fullscreen windows are captured correctly, otherwise recording and preview are black.

    Happens with every encoder (x264, h264, h265).
    Windows 10 19042.985.
Latest version of x64 OBS 27.0.0.

Specs in sig / profile info.

21.5.1 works correctly with OBS, verified by reinstalling that set.

Sorry man. This problem exists with 21.5.2 as well (all drivers after 21.2.3 seem to have the problem). I just wanted to mention it here as well because this is going to be a more active thread (as it's more recent). And also so that fellow users like you or someone else here can help attest that they too can reproduce this issue. Thanks!

21.2.3 is also by far the best performing driver since, at least for not DX12, Vulkan games.

You mean 21.3.2? cause can't find 21.2.3 driver.

21.4.1 is the best performing driver for me but still have some stuttering just like 21.5.2.

Both 21.4.1 and 21.5.2 caused Assasins Creed Oddysey to crash on my RX 570. Reverting to 21.2.3 I can now play without crashes. Looks like AMD dropped the ball for Polaris-based GPUs in the last few driver releases.

You should play Odyssey on AMD via DXVK Async exclusively, given how much better it runs and how it removes stutters.

21.5.2 caused days gone to crash but 21.4.1 did not. Still, even with these newest ones it happens rarely, my card is even overclocked so that may be the cause not the driver.

No need to go back all the way to 21.2.3 or 21.3.2. Amd should look into these issues and probably will.
