Which is still significantly more than the price I suggested for the Vega 56. :) I have not seen any neglect for the cards and from my perspective, they perform far greater than just admirably. I have yet to use the image sharpening and from what I understand, it does not appear to make much difference in the higher resolutions. (I will try it eventually and see for myself, however.) That said, buying the cards at the sold and shipped by Newegg prices that are listed is most definitely not worth it. (Need to do ebay used to make it worth it.)

    This.

Pre-purchase and get open beta early access. Begins 9.19*

Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® is expected to release on October 25, 2019.

So, it will be supported in 19.9.3 or later. It isn't even the third working week, yet.

    UPD. Your profile...

I agree with You, Vega 56/64 for ~150-220€ is a no brainer (1080p/1440p).
Those GPUs are very good, also You can wait until DX12/VLK & RayTracing will be more polished.
New Consoles (ZEN+Navi) around the corner and then You can make an upgrade to Navi2 (save money for now :p)

Yes, but for budget oriented builds (up to 200€) Vega is clear winner for Years to come...
Which Better GPU (that can handle 1440p ;)) You can have up to 200€ mark? Bummer -> none :p
So Vega is now best 2nd hand GPU out there.

    @OnnA

I currently have a RX 480 Nitro and a Fury X. I swap between them.
My Fury X can be 20fps faster depending on the game. But I am thinking about snagging a used Vega 56 off ebay, throwing an AIO on it. Not worried about overclocking, I just love how quiet my fury x is with the AIO.

    I play @ 2560x1080 75hz freesync/enhanced sync.

    So did I.

I haven't had much time to test these new drivers yet, but I can enable hardware acceleration in my browsers again and watch video content without crashes or BSODs on my 5700 XT :)

Well Id be happy with just a reg RX 5700. If Vega does not get RIS, then thats an easy choice for me. Tested out RIS on my RX 480, and damn does it make a huge difference in DX12 games.

Does RIS literally only sharpen the image or does it take 1080p and upscale it to 1440p and then sharpen? If it's just sharpening, I can just adjust the sharpness of my monitor can't I?

Not sure exactly when it started, but I'm getting worse performance in Rocket League now. It never used to drop below 144fps and now I get performance sub 100fps sometimes in certain maps (like Salty Shores).

What was the best driver for polaris before RX 5700 came out?

D3D9 and previous versions (excluding D3D9Ex on flip-mode) do not lie on DXGI, this is why it doesn't work.

Hmm, have you tried clearing the cache? Global Settings > Reset > Shader Cache

FRTC works fine on DX9 games, but vsync must be off in order for it to activate.

That's so weird that you replied to my post just as I was visiting this page, like I literally didn't have any notifications until I responded to that other post hah. What does clearing the shader cache do?

It has been noted at times to cause hiccups as you described. I've experienced it myself. Deleting it may fix your problem but you have to try it. It doesn't hurt anything as it will repopulate as needed. It's cache...

Thanks! I'll give it a shot. Like you said, it can't hurt since it will just rebuild anyway.
