Fury isnt that bad like everyone put it. Im sure its still faster than his competitor gtx980. It was held back by vram on Fury X thats why 980ti is ahead this days.

@LocoDiceGR Late tomorrow I bet, before 1/10 Breakpoint early access launch and a whole week after 23/9 whql driver, it seems a legit thought.

@Undying Fury was against 980 and it loses, Fury X was against 980ti and it loses, 390 was against 970 and it loses. That's why Fury X beats 980 and 390X beats 970. Simple truth. No magic, no fine wine. The difference stayed where it is by the years more or less. :)

The same happened with RX580 you cannot call it 1060gtx competitor because it already had a competitor RX480, which lost the battle VS 1060, no finewineTM saved the day. ;)

Of-course there are optimized games like DX12 and vulkan that turn the tables. But DX11 is the king still.

I do not agree completely on that statement but hey whatever floats your boat. :p

DX12/Vulkan not only turn the tables but if take a look at last three game bechmarks here on Guru3D 580 is competing with 1660 now. As for Fury it still underpeforms due lack of vram and like @JonasBeckman said low clocks speeds.

upgraded from 19.7.1 to this package, RX580 Pulse
same performance, and honestly i can't see any difference enabling RIS in battlefield5 or assetto or horizon4

but it all seems to work good like previous ones, including same crashes in horizon4 and same strange flashing bushes in dx12 battlefield5 (sadly all known bugs for both)

Try making screenshots for both on and off.
There is a difference for sure.

In assetto I've had hair of better performance (just using bench) with 19.5.2s than anything after 19.7.1, they'd end consistently 1-2fps (a bit less in percentage) above than later drivers.

That's the true WHQL driver and recommended for bug free Outer Worlds experience. Back to it. No more character and companion darkness.
