Guru3d has 80 fps for BF1, TPUp 84 fps. But yeah, it can mean many different things.
    1. It's a typo, and BF1 is higher.
    2. He tested BF1 on a different map than Guru3D or TPUp
    3. It is just completely fake.

Anyway, all released cards started at their MSRP, so it shouldn't be different with the Vega. When mining fever gets its hand on these cards, well, then it will climb higher. But at start, it will be 400$ for reference and maybe 430-450 for AIB models.

As my parents used to say, "use your words".

AMD actually stated that even the standard 1080 was faster than Vega64 at times.

Vega64 faster than the 1080 in BF1, DeusEX and Forza, but the 1080 is faster in Ashes of the Singularity, Doom and Gears of War (Assuming 4).

3 wins each, all DX12/Vulkan games.

Yes I've seen these but simply put; I cannot make up my mind yet. Every time the tests (different procedures from different sites and above all biased or not?) does not look to be conclusive at this point! I do hope nevertheless that AMD will be able to kick some buts and I can buy a card below 400EUR at at least double the performance of mine (otherwise makes no sense)! A similar performing card GPU that I would like to buy hit me at the moment with 479 EUR and I don't like it:bang:!

I think the real magic will happen putting Vega into a Ryzen machine with its hsa setup I've not looked massively into it but remember seeing intel chips being used in other news bits I've seen online

Ryzen has been used in lots of FE news, and all the RX results directly from AMD themselves.

1080 faster than Vega 64 in AOTS?

    :3eyes:

Something must be really wrong with Vega, AOTS used to be THE perfect AMD GPUs showcase.

I think Nvidia performance has been improving over time in AOTS, same thing with Hitman.

DeusEX MD still heavily favours AMD though.

Still I think they could be holding back performance until officially released like maybe turning the rig into a full hsa pooling resources to boost performance amd put a lot of effort into it, these are only my thoughts but not impossible

The problem I see is that those numbers reported for the 1070 are a lot lower than other reviewers have shown to be the case. I would take this with a grain of salt. Just compare DOOM with with they have tested here at guru3d on a 1070. Faster than what that is reporting for the 1070.

Will 100%upgrading to vega 64, I like many have a free sync monitor and for £600 these cards under cut nvidia by over £100 compared to the ti cards here.
    Well done AMD!

Oops, I was wrong. 1070 MSRP is $379.

In this case, price is close to lowest vega card. Not bad, if it actually delivers on performance.

Yeah...but it's so late to the party that i really wonder how long they'll be able to say "Hey! our card is faster then a GTX 1070, and only costs a little more!" if the GTX 1170/2070 comes out and obliterates the VEGA card, and still be $379. If this vega card is what is being stated in this thread, then the price to the Vega 56 is good, if it was released when the GTX 1070 was released.

Vega seem to be crushing numbers on cryptocurrency.
Even if gaming performance of Vega is good, price might inflate due to mining demand.

WAY too many rumors and hype concerning Vega. I'm done believing any of them. Lets gets some real reviews in before we get too excited about anything.
