Radeon RX 7000 officially to be announced in November

    A TSMC 5nm 12 inch waffer is at worst 17k. You can get at the absolute minimum 1500 good 37,5mm2 good dies from it, and the main 300mm2 die is on 6nm which is even cheaper.

    Thanks for that. I didn't realize the main GPU dies was on a different process. I haven't seen any updates on it for a while now. AMD has been much better than Nvidia at plugging the leaks.

    Well the new Ryzens are the same launch price as the 5 series was, which is good news. Now the bad news, the motherboards are insanely expensive. We only have the x670 and x670-e boards and the cheapest board is $699 and there's only a couple under $1,000 and some even go as high as $2,100. If I wanted an 7950, the cheapest CPU, Motherboard, 32Gb Ram and AM5 AIO would set me back around 3k. That's nuts.
