This certified driver release includes optimizations and performance improvements for remote workstation environments

Works great on my W5500 & Amd RX 570 8GB. , no problems. Slight performance increase in gaming also.

Edit: After more testing with gaming, the 20.Q3 is still the fastest overall, so i suggest you use those instead of 20.q4.

I edited my post, the 20.q4 drivers for my card is not good, after more testing, performance is worse than 20.q3, i also tested the new Andreliln drivers for my card, their performance is not as good like 20.Q3 as well. I tested the new 20.q4 drivers on my WX 7100 and W5500, the best drivers i ever use so far is the Enterprise 20.q3, they have the best overall performance.

Looking at your card, 20.q4 hasn't been updated, its still showing 20.q3. But they may work good on your card, who knows.

I mean you can test out the 20.Q4. But with my setup and cards, the performance is way better using 20.q3. But i usually test out 2 games and more, but 2 of them is Gear Tactics and Sleeping Dogs (old game). 20.Q3 in Gear,

    20.Q3

    GPU framerate 97
    CPU framerate 311

    20.Q4

    GPU framerate 80
    CPU framerate 276

    Adrenalin 2020 Edition 20.11.1

    GPU framerate 84
    CPU framerate 300

    Sleeping Dogs 20.q4 = 256 / 20.11.1 = 260 / 20.Q3 = 288.

So overall you're not losing that much performance at all, but overall yes the 20.Q3 is the best. The next enterprise driver is not until way next year. So I'm just going to stay using 20.q3 no problems with nothing.

  6. For 20.Q3, do you mean specifically 20.Q3 (aug 12), and not 20.Q3.1 (sep 11)?

Hmm, after checking, it seems I don't have a choice. The 20.Q3 drivers are the only drivers for my card. It's also interesting that I don't have the newer Adrenaline UI as I did with the RVii, using the same driver (20.Q3).

I wouldn't worry about it, i get less performance using the newest Adrenaline drivers compared to 20.q3, at least with my WX 7100 and W5500. But the newest Adrenaline drivers are great for my RX 5708GB.

On another note, your card has the newest updated for 20.Q3. (9/22/2020) I can't use it, but you can.

    Thank you!
    Yes this driver is better!!
They even work with GPU acceleration with BorixFX and DFT(Digital Film Tools), the current Adrenaline does not...

So with your setup the 20.q4 is better for you?
Because for me, its not. 20.Q3 is, even though I switch over to using Adrenalin 20.11.3

    As you mentioned that 20.Q3 is better, I haven't even tried 20.q4 .... :)

20.q3 seems to the best always right now, even the Adrenalin 20.11.3 drivers fps are lower compared to the 20.q3. With my two cards i get lower fps using the 20.q4. But keep in mind, all these drivers performance is perfectly fine, just saying the 20.q3 gives out the best fps, that's all.

  14. Do actual Pro GPUs allow for Wattman in either the Enterprise or Adrenaline drivers?

If I'm seeing right, a WX 7100 is basically the Pro-version of the RX 580, and I was thinking about trying to flash a VBIOS for the WX7100 onto my RX 580. But I like being able to set memory timings, up the power limit, and use a custom fan profile in Wattman.

I'm pretty sure you can install the Enterprise drivers with the RX580 installed, no need to flash anything.

Also, sometimes these cards can have differences. For example, the Pro VII is pcie4.0 and has ECC enabled, while the Radeon VII is pcie3.0 without ECC support.

They work just fine on my RX 570 8GB, so yes.

  17. Can you use all of the Pro GPU features with non-Pro GPUs on Enterprise drivers? I'm not sure on anything specifically, but I heard somewhere that implied Pro Render or something in Blender didn't work unless you had an actual Pro GPU. I also heard that some features were restricted to certain device IDs regardless of the driver being installed.

I wouldn't know, i only use workstation gpus for gaming/editing videos. Sounds strange, but i never looked into all that pro render/blender stuff. Just for gaming mostly/editing videos, etc.
Just download a enterprise driver and try it, i recommend enterprise 20.q3 which is the best driver for everything IMO.

  19. Enterprise drivers seem to work pretty nicely. I was using 20.Q4 for a bit; release date is newer than 20.11.1, but the driver date is a little older; overall still worked fine though. The control panel seems a little lighter too, or at least is missing an automatic updater, and Relive VR (maybe game streaming as well?).

Most important for me though is that 20.Q4 is the latest driver that works with Oculus Link. Link was broke since 20.11.2 and every driver after that. Although it doesn't particularly matter in my case, it looks nicer using the latest available Enterprise driver, vs a driver that's 4-5 releases old and always showing an update available status in the control panel :p

If you look at the next driver update for next month, the new AMD CP will be added, so those control panels features will be updated, similar to the Adrenalin drivers. But yea the 20.Q3 drivers are the best, i use them on my RX 570 as well.

They give out the best performance in every driver i tried so far.
