Hey guys, i was just looking in an ad for my local Best Buy, and they had a Radeon DDR PCI for only 99 dollars. They also install it. Should i get this or the Geforce2 MX400 PCI?

Thanks,
Jack
Radeon DDR for pci? becareful, thats not the DDR card, its the SDR card.

Buy online, its cheaper.
Jack why are you thinking about buying a pci video card unless your computer doesn't have an agp port.
ATI RADEON 64 DDR is under $200; a Geforce 2 mmx 32mb is under $100. Both can be had at Best Buy and installed free.
pci videp cards are slower than agp video cards. performance suffers and so does game playing.
m
Forget those cards, look for something that has DDR, BUY ONLINE!!! its so much cheaper, and it delivers right to your door. For god sakes, go to pricewatch.com. GREAT DEALS <---READ IT

Anyways, for video cards... Radeon LE is cheap, and faster than an MX if the registery is edited to enable the true power of the card + it has DDR ram. This is online orders only.

But PCI? whatkind of motherboard do you have?
I have an Intel i810 Motherboard, thats why i'm getting a PCI card. Just to hold me over untill i get a completely new computer early next year.

-Jack
Forget it then, save your money.

You'll blow money on something useless.

if you just want to play games ont he thing, get a tnt2, or voodoo3, something sub $75
There is nothing wrong with getting a Geforce2 MX PCI. In fact, it's your best bet for a top performing PCI video card, very good deal as well.
