I've never used Omega drivers. Whats special about them... quite tempted to try them out.

I hope Crossfire isn't screwed with these like the Official 7.10 set are with Quakewars...

They installed fine on my x1950pro but it only gave me a max of 60mhz on the refresh rate no matter what i did.So i reverted back to normal 7.10's

Well, I'm on x1950pro agp too, but I could change to any rate, no problem here, all working perfectly fine! Thank you again, Omega!:)

Ist it worth to try these drivers´s?

The original ATI 7.10´s work OK for me so far. Is the performance better with the new Omega´s ?

Most of the time or rather all the time, Omega driver works better than official driver. If you think that the official 7.10 already working very good, then Omega@7.10 is gonna be better!

There's just one thing. Is there any reason why Overdrive is being enabled even though when the installer asked me if I wanted to disable overclocking, which I said yes to disable it. Everytime I disabled it, Overdrive is still getting checked upon bootup... yet it started showing 0 temperature since ATT was first run.

I guess ATT still doesn't allow Crossfire to work... doesn't allow me to go anywhere with it except cancel.

Not that it would make much difference anyway. As even with the Official drivers when its enabled, Crossfire does not function correctly.

stupid question, do these omega drivers use the hotkey poller to switch the X1950XT from its 2D mode to 3D mode? I like my card, but that hotkey poller runs two background processes which I wish I could get rid of. But when I kill the processes my card can switch from 2d mode to 3d mode, it just stays in 2d mode till I reboot and the hotkey poller runs again.

Just like the previous based on 7.9, these too won't install properly. It does install, but after reboot i have no drivers installed, tho i can remove them from add/remove tab.

Strangely, for the 1st time ever, and IMHO, the official 7.10 + CCC runs much faster and smoother than the Omega@7.10, after running and testing for 2 days. I;m now back to official 7.10!:knock:

I thought that. I just wasn't sure. Quakewars doesn't seem to run as good compared to the official 7.10.

I like these drivers... they fixed a game that wasn't working correctly with official 7.10's... whether they're any better or worse in other games I dunno... but for GTI Racing I can now play it as with official 7.10's I had textures missing and it was very very weird!

No AA/AF gets applied to TF2 with this set, it just gets ignored. These will sadly have to get the heave.

I've used omega 7.9 and 7.10 no other driver work with my agp card. everything runs well im playing the UT3 demo at 35-40fps all maxed crysis im playing at 25-30 1280x1024 all high but shader sound shadows and physics on med and i tweaked the cvar files some. i havent did alot of benches just some ingame playing only test I did was the atitraytools bench and now that its windowed and not full screen im getting a very high score over other driver 12000+ over 6800 pre 7.10. the best thing about the 7.10 is that it some how unlocked my vram b4 I couldnt oc that mem over 716mhz( it would crash the pc) now with the 7.10 I have it oc to 748mem and 647core somehting I was not able to do and everything runs fine no heat no atritacts

sorry to burst your bubble about your ATT benchies but that score is not right, there's a glitch in ATT with the new drivers that causes incorrect scores, ray adams hasn't had time to fix http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=242330
