About Time, going to test some differences against that 17.7 driver on Raven Ridge.

So they do work on desktop too, well probably not going to install these as they don't list anything too important for fixes I'd be interested in but they do list a couple of known issues although some of these were probably there already in previous drivers.

Well might as well rip the profile data at least and see what that gives.

Of course it need support also for dedicated cards, because if you wanted to utilize both apu and dedicated gpu you couldn't install newer driver for dedicated card separately.

Ah that would be true, I was thinking specifically of laptops using GPU chips on the CPU die only and not the higher end models that also have a dedicated GPU plus stationary systems in general for the Ryzen CPU's when combined with a AMD GPU would also need this.

EDIT: Curious as to why there's two drivers though, why not implement support directly into 18.5.x unless perhaps it'll be a beta driver and if so that could differ more compared to the Q2 here come to think of it.
(Beta drivers usually not having support for these things unlike the WQHL ones.)

Well it doesn't matter, good of AMD to provide a driver finally for the newer CPU models and their Vega variant graphics chips. :)

EDIT: Yeah these have both the Microsoft and AMD signatures on the .dll files so they're WHQL certified.
(Would explain the May 11th file date in the INF too since it takes a while.)

Tested 17.7 and this 18.Q2 driver.
Performance wise, no performance improvement on Raven Ridge 2400G, most I have seen was like 2% and that's within margin of error on APU as that may be just temperature throttling situation.

    But those fixes!!!
On 17.7 Path of Exile had some crazy blueish tint, so HP was blue, mana was yellow instead of blue. (Fixed in 18.Q2)
WH40K: DoW II – Retributionwas able to start on 17.7, but upon starting benchmark/mission... crash. (Fixed in 18.Q2)
Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams DX11 had again something with color representation. (Fixed in 18.Q2)
Changing video settings in Left 4 Dead 2 with 17.7 caused game to minimize and no way to get it back... It still run, played sounds, you could shoot or move in menus.(Fixed in 18.Q2)
