Here is why we need ZEN for Radeons as perfect combo (1440p in mind)
Keep in mind that RAM at 3466 CL14/15 1T will make 8700k obsolete.
2400Mhz 8GB is nowere near 3200/3466 for ZEN combo ;)

Here some tests with Vega64 and Low latency RAM for ZEN 1700
    at 7m41s

    PS.
Im no changing to this one: Q2 2018 is WHQL and it's almost the same :p:cool:

I'm happy to report that my HTC ViVE will no longer freeze or cause a BSOD when launching SteamVR.

However the notorious AMD settings and Relive bugs remain as present and annoying as always.

This is a known problem with WINDOWS 10 and not the drivers.

No. It's a conflict between the drivers and windows 10. not just a win 10 issues, as previous catalyst version works fine and 18.5.1 too (in my case).
(Note: i used DDU as requested by LocoDiceGR)

Hmm, i was on 18.4.1 WHQL then updated WinX to Spring Creators Update 17134.48 (all fine) then Upgraded Adrenalin to Q2 2018 WHQL -> all fine
I even don't remember when was the last time i've used DDU ;)
[Too much customized profiles, chill, tess, FPS Cap etc.]

18.4.1 was the first driver to use WDDM 2.4 (WDDM 2.4 was introduced in the April update) so.... nope. This driver made the bug only obvious. Maybe AMD has fixed what MS has broken in 18.5.1, who knows. But it was definitely related to April update / broken W10.

Installed these, random green dots while playing Black Desert ,and with youtube open on Chrome.
    Windows 10 1803 Ryzen 1700 stock,RX 580 XFX 16 g ram.

Reverting to 18.4.1 solves the problem.

You need precise in what moment you have those FPS.
If it's Crysis 3 Root of Evil on Ultra, it's normal.
If it's Crysis 3 Welcome to the Jungle, it's your CPU.
If it's GTA V in desert it's normal.
If it's GTA V in city, it's your CPU.

    About GTA V.
Here is many graphics options which wasted performance in my opinion.

Look at this comparisons. I think some things you can set lower easily. Reflects for example.

    About 50fps lock.
Check refresh rate and Vsync option. I had some problems with it when i used to use old LCD Toshiba TV as monitor.

I also have the same bug with Crysis 2. The fps is capped to 50. More cinematic I guess...

Great and stable enough as a whole, run perfectly on AMD system with all filters included, now gaming or any playback oriented, not a single problem like Q2 2018. Guys and gals talking about bugs they should check their OS and OC'ing.

Like these? If so, that's interesting that you've found a way to reproduce the issue, as it only happens to me occasionaly when switching tabs.

I feel like i made a good choice by being lazy and skip these q2 2018 drivers as i see pretty many posts mentioning problems with that release.
