i installed quake and then glquake, ran it and i get a missing dll file error:

GLIDE2X.DLL

any one know why this happens?
well i deleted the glide2x.dll and the opengl32.dll, and it now works, those two dlls were for 3dfx chipsets because as you may know were the card to game with in the old days

thanx anyways.
Were those two .dlls in the Windows/System directory? I know the opengl32.dll is; and I know that the glide2x.dll is when you install a Glide wrapper or Voodoo card. I'll try deleted/moving or renaming them out of the System directory to see if that works. With my TNT and my old 400 MHZ and 1000MHZ I couldn't get GLQuake to work, but normal Quake would run. Since I have a Radeon, I'll try it, but while I'm a work now, please comment on your situation.
