Radeon™ Software Adrenalin for Halo Infinite™ Highlights
    Support For

    • Halo Infinite™
      • Multiplayer mode
    Known Issues
    • During Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy™ gameplay, some users may experience driver timeouts on some AMD Graphics products such as Radeon™ RX 5500 XT Graphics. A temporary workaround is to disable the Radeon™ Anti-Lag feature in Radeon™ Software.
    • Some users may experience elevated disk space consumption by the Multimedia Athena Dumps folder.
    • Visual artifacts may be observed while playing Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War on some AMD Graphics products such as Radeon™ RX 6800M Graphics.
    • While playing PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds™ with multiple displays connected in extended mode, Radeon™ Software may become unresponsive when the user is in the lobby and attempts to open Radeon Software on the secondary display via the context menu. A temporary workaround is to press the Alt + R keyboard shortcut if this happens.
    • Enhanced Sync may cause a black screen to occur when enabled on some games and system configurations. Any users who may be experiencing issues with Enhanced Sync enabled should disable it as a temporary workaround.
    • Radeon performance metrics and logging features may intermittently report extremely high and incorrect memory clock values.

    21.40.03.01 ... 21.11.2 is 21.30.xx.xx

Is this an early release fork of any upcoming December (Omega) release?

This is totally a pre release driver. It's not even listed on the drivers page just 21.11.2 and 21.10

In Infinite did test 21.11.2 drivers and the max frames were not great, this driver has a 20 or 30fps higher but the dips are massive still in multiplayer.

Looks like AMD revamped Wattman quite a bit with these, interface is a bit unstable but a few crashes later I could apply the settings.
AMD Crash Defender is also integrated a bit more with these, can't be removed as a separate component as before though components like Ryzen Master SDK, DVR (Overlay and recording.) and WVR (VR related.) can still be uninstalled as before with tweaking.

Not much else to say for now, fan interface in Wattman also looks a bit different and the XML is quite overhauled so much of that had to be set up again but other than Wattman itself being a tad prone to crash so far nothing too problematic.

~Been using the driver for all of half an hour or so though so yeah not much to say this early on either. :)

I've seen this on a few driver releases now; what's this about specifically? What's Athena, and why would the display driver have any affect on it's dump folder size?

How is your performance in Infinite? For me not so good even on low details with my RX 580, R5 3600...

    Nice, thanks for the info!
I guess this is in preparation for December/Junuary drivers.

BTW, can you screenshot Wattman to see how it looks now?
    Thanks again.

    "C:\Windows\System32\AMD\MmdAthenaDumps"

There is an issue with too many dmp files generated by multimedia engine - an unexpected behavior.

As it turns out I was just too hasty and hadn't toggled on the settings and advanced view folded out the menus and such and now it's back to being the proper graphs and curve interface for these options. (Well for the fan one it's "steps" effectively. :p )

EDIT: It looks a bit defaulted when it's back to a less valid or compatible config file and having to set it back up, should have compared better and kept the older one for the changed or added categories.

It's just a number though so 3 or 9 true or false and then toggling on and off things and matching it to the fan, GPU or memory and such.
Wonder if that's for upcoming changes or newer cards, newest Overdrive API and Wattman readying to support this.

Don't know if that's iGPU related, RDNA2 refresh or something else though could just be Wattman and software changes to the existing GPU hardware too.

Driver feels ok for general use but the Halo is literally unplayable on RX470/4G everything on low game is hitting 50~55 fps on main menu lol 60 in game with a lots of frame drops for no real reason... also if i hit everything on max including 4k resolution i get like 30~40fps something is really ****** with that game.
