I'm hoping the RDNA1 God of War DXVK fix will arrive maybe in 22.1.3, but mostly likely at the earliest in 22.2.1.

 

The main driver is next week (22.1.3 with Super Resolution) and some bugs fix.

 

You won't see this fixed for half a year at least.

 

yeah nothing is fixed in this driver same as 22.1.1

 

AMD when are you gone to fix those three critical bug for me ?

-Black screen with Hardware video on chrome or Edge .
-massive frame drop with Rebar on in forza Horizon 5 .
-Stutter in warzone with High texture setting .

 

I cant comment on Warzone as I dont play that, but Horizon 5 with Rebar works insanely smooth for me. No frame drops.
Chrome, zero issues with any video anywhere and hardware acceleration.

with old WHQL driver 21.10.1 no problem .

 

So @Agonist is using a X570 based motherboard and @PhazDelta is using a X470 based motherboard.. at least if your profile information is current.

What motherboard chipset driver version are the both of you using.

 

I am using 3.10.08.506 on Win 10.

Rebar also is working on my HTPC with b450 and RX 570 8GB. Horizon 5 works well on that system but not as smooth as my main rig.

 

i use amd_chipset_software_3.10.22.706 win 10 .

Great, new driver to play with, no mention of the Chrome video playback issue resolution though.

I've always thought downloads from AMD directly was slow, hence my preference for downloading drivers here. But, I was surprised at the speed of the download though, before I knew it (less than 5 seconds) the driver was downloaded. Heck, that's as fast, if not faster than here.

 

hoping for AMD fix anything you must be new with AMD GPU right?

 

I wouldn't expect them to fix anything DXVK related since it's not something they maintain or really have anything to do with. It's also intended for Linux/Wine but can be used on Windows so I doubt they have any interest in fixing anything related to it

 

What they need to do is to support rsr with many gpus as possible. Vega and polaris comes into mind atleast.

 

There is a precedent actually. I forgot in which driver, but I saw once or twice a DXVK specific fix for Windows.

Also, it's less of a DXVK fix and more of a Vulkan call that's not working as expected. And implementing Vulkan with all it's specs correctly is their job though.
