R9800 Pro and 300W Power.

So, does 9800 Pro run well with 300W power?

I've read that, the minimum is 300W.

I just hope i won't need new power.

 

If its a generic 300w, throw in a few marbles for a new one it will a save you a big headache. At least a 350w Fortron or Sparkle, they are less expensive then Antec or Enermax but good.

 

yeah Fortrons have gotten some of the highest ratings. The Thermaltake 420w is decent for the money too.

 

I got compusa 400 watts PSU with big heatsink on the side of it. WOOT, finally it came common sense into compusa.. finally.

 

So i've decided to buy 450W Q-tec PSU with dual fans. I just quickly searched for reviews and opinions, looks like okay stuff for cheap to me.

Only con's are, there's no powerswitch back of the PSU.

So what you guys think of that?

 

I had one with a power switch once but dont think I ever used it

Seriously man, dont get those cheap q-tec psu's. I've heard so much bad stuff about them!. There's a reason why they're so cheap.
When it comes to psu's, stick to quality brands.
