Nimez !!! Long time no post; were you able to get the HAGS on this officially AMD-released driver to work for pre-RDNA 3 cards? I tried all your previous registry hacks, and they all made my system unstable. At least @zingzs managed to increase their system's latency with their HAGS "implementation," which means you ARE doing something.

Does the "Pro" Version for Polaris, have the same performance as the Normal one?

 

I been struggling to achieve proper APU+ dGPU desktop setup, with standard adrenaline 23.11.2 stock drivers for several days without luck on Windows 10 and 11.
Thanks to this drivers! I was able to run my desktop R7 5700g + RX6800 like a laptop, using Multi-Monitor mode > Ms-Cross Fixed Hybrid.
Monitor plugged on the motherboard HDMI (Cezanne APU) I can choose Power saver and High performance GFX properly on Windows 10 LTSC 2021.
RX6800 enters deep sleep (0v vCore and Fans off) and wakes when used.
Windows 10 LTSC 2021 21H2 must be updated to at least build version 19044.3693 for this to work.

 

Valve has just released a new APU driver for the Steam Deck (17th November). I previously had Radeon id 23.11.1 installed and was working, but, uninstalled to test the new Valve driver. Adrenaline was also working, however, I cannot replicate getting Adrenaline control panel to work now after uninstalling everything and doing a fresh install of Radeon id. Does anyone know which version of Adrenaline control panel works with the Valve driver?

What can I do? With the newest Beta Driver on my RX 580 all OpenGL games have Black Screen, they start and I hear sound but they doesnt output any image. Im on Windows 11 latest with Ryzen 5 5600X.

 

Do you have a recommended settings for new drivers? Like Framebuffer parameter, HAGS enabled or not and more.

 

I installed radeon control panel from unzipping official 22.9.1 driver.

Hello, which drivers allow for support for modded bios on Polaris in particular? because atikmdag-patcher-1.4.12 (tried all patchers available same error) throws an error saying something about driver not present or some such.

Had to roll way back to get it working again. Did they make it to where modded bios doesn't work on new drivers anymore?

Whats ur hardware setup? You'll have to select a specific mutli-gpu configuration to get dxva to work on a multi-gpu system. I see your on Steam Deck? I had this same issue, had to use MPC:BE specifically it's the best anyway, just dog walks all other players in every single way imaginable in image quality with shader stacking & audio & video performance is superior for surround sound and dxva etc. I can help you line it up.
