On youtube (tutorial uploader from official website) they told me 23.4.1 includes opengl from official driver version. So who's wrong here?

Can't we use old opengl for legacy APU and new 22.7.1 opengl for polaris?

You have this feature broken in all driver versions tried.

APU shows up as Primary/Integrated/Hybrid
GPU shows up as Discrete/Hybrid

with adrenalin

APU shows up as Primary/Integrated/Switchable
GPU shows up as Discrete/Switchable

The system is not real hybrid setup, although in BIOS there is a PX hybrid setting, it defaults to dGPU Power down - in this mode it works perfectly as intended.

Complicating withthese tweaks results in several duplicated registry entries e.g. when trying to run oclmembench, probably it affects other apps and stability as well

 

i have a question. My friend's laptop has an A10-9600p with R5 graphics and R7 dedicated(both legacy GCN) gpu..will that laptop gonna use just a single driver or can it be like with different driver for each GPU?

 

No one says that

FlexArch does only splitting kernels, not API packages like DX/OGL/Vulkan, so there is possibility it cannot be done with Vendor Renderer aka API Switcher

The author knows what is he doing with this drivers, it is clearly not Amernime's fault. The same thing happened for Carrizo-L and Legacy GCN dGPU, both have been misidentified as Dual-Graphics mode by Enduro

 

You need to toggle tweaks one by one, not ALL-IN-ONE.

Because what you do here is experimental testing, best to see with proceed one tweak to be altered, then tweak another if the stability is good.

I always do that trick everytime I tweak my 6700XT

 

Use FlexArch with APU Color Hotfix and dGPU (revealed at page 2/2 of FlexArch Menu)

And, expect BSODs to be happened because of Broken AMD Enduro

All devices need to use same API? Yeah, right, probably impossible otherwise AMD would do it themselves instead of breaking drivers

 

Can confirm the author of nimez said 23.4.1 still uses 22.6.1 branch where the last openGL is working with Legacy GCN.

Above than 22.7.1? Nope, it doesn't recognize legacy GCN, it flagged unticked OpenGL box and missing API in GPUz

 

What i would do is use SDI Snappy Driver installer and simply install the latest NimeZ driver then once complete quit the whole thing out meaning do not continue the nimez setup just close it all out immediately after the SDI completes then reopen and go to the menu where u can force enable crossfire, do that then check gpuz without dependencies installed... It worked for me on a AMD Radeon HD 7560D & a AMD Radeon HD 7570 using Terascale drivers though and it works great AMD Dual Graphics with AFR Friendly makes games that were otherwise unplayable, quite playable. Like Far Cry 2 I get 60-90 fps with a stock 760mhz 7560D and overclocked 767mhz 7570 1gb gddr5 card with the memory at 938mhz. The 7570 stock clocks at 650mhz core and 800mhz memory. Then if you feel it necessary, install dependencies manually via the .exe.

 

@zingzs I have an issue with the gcn nimez 23.4.1 drivers, forza motorsport 7 menu is corrupted on all drivers except 19.11.1. So what i did was install the official 19.11.1 drivers manually in device manager and launched 22.5.2 nimez cli and simply went to the section about switchable graphics mode and set MS FIXED RENDER and didn't touch anything else and just disabled ULPS through SAPPHIRE TRIXX 6.4 which works better imo than MSI AFTERBURNER and it works perfectly for the most part lol Sure im always wanting more like CROSSFIRE between the R5 graphics in apu of the a8-7410 with the r5 m430 that would be amazing!

Does anyone have the revert to default upon changing any setting in AMD Performance Tuning Settings?

I edited my AMD Radeon R5 M430 PP_PhmSoftPowerPlayTable so now I can crank the power limit out to 100%, only problem is its not sticking. Advice?

I did manage to figure out how to change everything in the PP_PhmSoftPowerPlayTable for the AMD RADEON R5 M430 though, maybe it will be useful to some here...

 

Has anyone noticed that amd drivers just maxing out voltage scalar or ram clocks outta no where after a long session or drier crash maybe?

 

Well I was wrong about the voltage control, but anyway I figured out how to control the voltage and now im up to 1.200v from 1.100v, +100mv so I can clock it clear out to 1250mhz core 1250mhz memory on the AMD RADEON R5 M430... Its so sweet its outperforming Vega mobile now I think? at almost 800 giga flops of fp32 single precision performance is amazing.

I ended up settling with V7-22.10.1-GCN-UMD-WHQL-Nemesis-NimeZ-DCH & I clocked my AMD RADEON R5 M430 to 1175mhz core 1250mhz memory with 1.185v because the VRM was having issues at 1.2v or above and I set the power limit to 100% and increased the max overclock limits to 1500mhz core 1500mhz memory. Pretty cool.

Now on Battlefield Bad Company 2 at 1080p low i get 50-60fps which is amazing performance.

 

Now I just need to figure out a way to disable AMD APM and run my laptop at full BOOST CLOCKS 24/7 because it needs it badly.

Anyone know where I can find the 64 bit and 32 bit WinRing0 files?

 

Hi. Did you find that issue fixed in any of the newer drivers than 22.11.2 and older than 23.4.1 since your post above? Maybe some newer version is still efficient in DXNAVI mode like before?
23.4.2 here is the current one now (but I doubt it will fix the issue, though). Thanks!
