Titles says it all. Overnight I gained about 2gb back out of no where, ones that ccleaner or diskcleaner did not get back for me. Is there anything I should be concerned about? I did update windows during this times and a few other programs, don't know if they delete old files on their own.

    Thanks for the help!

Unless you know what changed, there isn't enough information to think/do anything.

DO you have Trim/garbage collection enabled on your system???

That "might" account for the recovered space.

Q: "How do I know if TRIM is working in Windows 7?"

A: Go to the Command prompt and type > fsutil behavior query disabledeletenotify

DisableDeleteNotify = 1 (Windows TRIM commands are disabled)
DisableDeleteNotify = 0 (Windows TRIM commands are enabled)

Just Trim and Garbage collection at work

It only does it when drive access has been low for an extended period, some drives its 15 seconds, others its up too 5 minutes of low access before Trim kicks in
