hello everyone, when I finish installing Windows 7, should and can I trust Windows 7 to find all of the CORRECT drivers for my motherboard, soundcard, videocard etc?

or should I just do it the old fashion way and install all the drivers myself?

After installing Windows I put the motherboard drivers on, then graphics card and sound card (if necessary). It usually pays to put later drivers on from a performance and/or stability aspect. Windows 7 isn't bad at finding drivers but it isn't perfect either and to get the latest ones go to the respective hardware manufacturers site.

Also, make sure AHCI is enabled in BIOS before doing the install.

could you please tell me what is AHCI or why should it be enabled first in the BIOS?

if possible which part of the BIOS would it be in?
