I do hope you didn't take any of that to heart, Hilbert. The guy's clearly a tool and obviously doesn't know how to appreciate peoples hard work. I'm not even going to directly respond to him after that outburst, disgusting.

The new look is brilliant and something to be proud of, the feedback from the community reflects that.

Brush it right off, cause comments and attitude like his aren't worth the time of day. If it was constructive criticism fair enough, but it was blatant disrespect and uncalled for.

Look at all the comments man! He wouldn't know appreciation and good work if they round-house kicked him in the face.

I know, I'd love to also. :nerd:

    Site looks great!
I was just thinking about how cluttered it was right before the update.

    Thanks!

this +1, especially like the blue border seperators to break up lots of white space and content

-1, I prefer the current over adding borders.

Dude first off, calm the heck down man.

Of course they could've hired a professional agency,
spending lots of money for a better and more functional design...
but they do all this in their free time, for nothing.

As mentioned above, i like the design way more than the old one.
It's ok, it works well and looks nice... what else do you want?

Oh, and before you say i dont know what i'm talking about:
For over six years now i make a living designing and developing websites in an advertising agency here in germany.

It's my job, my hobby, my passion.

    On topic:
Please don't go with the borders, i like the type like that, it's clean and easy to read.

I like it, very clean and professional looking. I like it better than the previous new design.
As a long time reader of this site, i find this new design to be a lot cleaner and less cluttered than the current. thumbs up!

I like this version a lot better than v3.

I also kind'a like Leviathan's border idea (obviously better performed), but not including those borders isn't a deal breaker for me.

What confused me a little at first was the fact that the tittles aren't links, but I guess I can get used to that.

I have to say, I was very critical of the previous version before it got taken down. This new version is good, I like it. The simplicity is fantastic and I like the layout. Spacing between articles is great, I like that it's a list now.

Next I would work on the pop-down menus, they don't quite look right. Perhaps try removing the borders and playing with the background gradient. Remove the rounded edges? All other edges on your sight are hard right angles, this should probably match that.

I like the article preview slider at the top.
