Looks significantly more professional than the last one while still maintaining the better use of space + increased readability. Looks great.

I personally like the previous design that you guys came up with, it needed some cleaning but it was definitely good. I dont like the new beta one sorry.

I like it - there's no such thing as too wide unless it doesn't fit on my 1080p screen and please don't change the Forums. :)

Lightweight but not good in terms of 2012 standard; looks like a website from late 2008's; infact the forums with Aria skin looks better ...

Neowin home page is a similar layout, but looks much more elegant in presenting articles, for reference the current homepage of Guru3d has a oomph factor which the new beta site lacks ..

I like it, only thing I don't is the ad at the very top, I don't mind ads and get why you have them, but at the very top even above the logo just looks weird.

Oh yeah, can you make the article headings into links because I keep trying to click on them and it does nothing, when to me going to the article would be obvious behaviour.

Great improvement. Quicker, cleaner and consistent. One look and you know where you are, what you can do and where you can go.

I like it. Nice and simple and loads fast. Here's a couple thoughts:

    1. Will the "current articles" section on the main page use pagination or will you just keep a set number of articles there and then have users just use the articles link? If you don't plan on keeping a running list there I'd suggest keeping that list shorter for faster loads and just put a link at the bottom for "archives" or something.

    2. It would be nice to see some more separation between images and text in the articles instead of white space. Maybe a soft frame around the images, or just smaller images in general with an option to click them to expand it in a javascript modal or something. Putting smaller images would increase load times and require less scrolling to read through the articles. (not that it's a problem really).

Also liking it more than the last one, banner looks a bit darker and duller though, the wording etc... doesn't seem to stand out as much as the older one. :)

it's good for the first half of the page. however, i feel it gets boring as you scroll down (too white). maybe reduce the amount of stories? or put some sort of colour accent on each story? (for example engadget)

I'm definitely digging it. I do feel that the ad placement above the banner is a bit intrusive. Also, you may want to consider making the mirror links on the download pages stand out slightly more.
