question on the driver procedure for x-fi

    ok i want to keep the blue creative player and console,so what i did so far was install the original drivers from the cd,now when i install the new drivers how do i update without losing the blue audio console.thanks

    Just run the installer for the updated drivers, and it should take over from there. Previous releases just overwrote, but these latest ones seem to uninstall the previous ones for you if it detects older drivers, then installs the newer ones.

    I always only install the console from the original disc, then i d/l the latest driver ONLY. Works like a charm.
