    Here is some more about it.<br>
    "Bad Banners<br>
    This guy(link above) confirms what I already suspected. I became suspicious when I noticed my modem meter doing a one sided transmission when I visited a well known news site. The little mini sniffer told me the data was going to DoubleClick. They also seem to have gone to some effort to hide the source code in the banners.In addition to using a filtering proxy like Proxomitron, you should try to negate their spying by blocking them in the Host file usually found at C:\WINDOWS\Hosts with no extension." <br>
    <br>
    This came from here <A HREF="http://www.voiceofthepublic.com/IsYourFreewareSpyware.html" TARGET=_blank>http://www.voiceofthepublic.com/IsYourFreewareSpyware.html</A><br><br><i>This message was edited by martysweb on 02 May 2001 06:10 AM</i>

    I gotta wonder what they really think they are going to do with all this info. Sure they know where I shop on the web (I don't) where I surf, like they don't go to those sites too. They know what music I listen to, and who I get email from, the fact that the crack of my ass sticks out when I bend over. And yet with all that I delete spam like I throw out junk mail, and they aren't knocking on my door. So yes they can probably come up with a really nice set of demographics, figure out if they should call their next card the prophet or reaper. Or the next suv an xterra or pathfinder. So I will give them this newsflash too, my next video card will be a gf3, I want to see the fan blowing air over the ram modules too preferably. It will have to be praised by my friends at Guru and their associates. Also I'm looking for a house somewhere on the Halifax side of the Harbour. Any help would be appreciated, I can't make it any easier.

    To be fair, Ice and I agreed to a little friendly competition. It would be rather unfair of me to encourage such an action. But <IMG SRC="smileys/biggrin.gif">
