Question about Triple Buffering

    This. I removed it from my PC because it would make all kinds of dinging noises like it is working but then it doesn't really do ****.. I don't think it works half the time and what reliable method do we have of testing it?

    Triple buffering ought to be standard, right alongside Vsync on (Double buffered) and off. It can have a major impact on the smoothness fps delivered when below 60 fps.

    Nvidia TB only affects OpenGL ICD, and yes it does prevent the frame rate dropping from 60 to 30 in virtually any OpenGL app I've enabled it in.

    D3DOverrider works for many D3D games just the same (for those that don't already support TB). People complaining of annoying beeps is silly, because sound is easily disabled in the latest version.
