Hello: Im thinking of building a new pc and I dont know what to choose:

--The first option is intel i3 8100 Coffee Lake and Gigabyte Z370 HD3

--The second option is AMD Ryzen 5 1600 and Asrock AB350 Pro4

    What is your opinion?

Im very much concerned about the power consumption.

Well, my first question would be, what are you using your computer for? Are you just browsing the net and watching movies on youtube, or are you gaming, or do a lot of multi-tasking? Both items you have listed are low end, so shouldn't make a difference with which motherboard and cpu you go with.

Hello my friend, thanks for the answer.

Mostly browsing the internet and watching movies.

Anyway, I will choose the processor that has lower power draw.

The i3 will have marginally lower power consumption but it's not going to make any difference either way.

    i3 8xxx = i5 7xxx

The Ryzen CPUs are on a big discount right now, so I'd go with that. You get more performance at the same price.
