Quake Wars pushed back AGAIN!!!???

Great, well I just read over at tweakguides that its been pushed back to somewere inbetween July and Sept. This really blows, I was so looking forward to a demo soon

Well what can you say? I expected this to happen.. to good to be true .

 

must be having issues with the beta testing.

 

Let's be honest, the leaked beta screenshots (they were legit, right?) didn't look impressive at all....looked like a BF2142 clone.


Hopefully the devs can have more time to improve the game...

 

How can it be delayed when it never had official release date?

And those leaked screenshots which were leaked and breaking NDA rules, were BS. Look at the official footage.

It does suck that it's taking so long, but i hope patience will be rewarded.

i got the EGM book and it say Enemy Territory Quake Wars is rated T for mild blood, Mild Language, Violence.

doesn't seem "delayed" to me.

 

it was origionally slated for a 15th of june release, but theve pushed it back to Q3 07 , they havent gave a definate release date yet

That is exactly what came to mind when I saw the pics. BF Clone. And if it feels even remotely like BF, I will delete. Hope we see a demo before release. Then I can try before buy.

Gameshops are just guessing the release date to get people pre-order the game. Only release date that counts is this: When it's done.

Also i wouldn't judge the game before you play it, and the previews have been very positive way too. And btw BF 2124 is QW clone, EA copied idea from QW when it was announced, and rushed a bugged game to market. SD has also said that there will be demo before it hits the shelves.

 

Well, BF was the first in it's sub-genre. But who cares.... as long as the game is good.

 

one thing im worried about though is the 24 max players, will there be enough excitment with only 12 ppl on each side? This game looks amazing.. I just dont wanna get bored with only fighting 3 or so ppl at a time, Im used to the whole 64 deal going on in BF2 and 2142, no doubt in my mind though, im def picking this gsme up when it hits stores.

its been out for the past 2 weeks that its been delayed though and an official statement was released simply because the demo was to be on some PC mag coverdisc tomorrow

I hope its more like BF2 than 2142 point and shoot simpleton rubbish
