    You only use quadro drivers, yet are unable to mod your own .inf?

    Um, not sure if you notice but other people take the time to mod drivers for us, for the community to use. :wanker:

    Still, you should learn how to do it yourself, it's not that hard.

    Agree. Besides, you don't know what people are putting into those modded infs, while you know what you are putting there - only your gpu model.

    Try youtube. I find a nice video showing step by step modding. It's not that hard.

    OFFTOPIC:)
    1. Get a driver that supports your GPU (like official WHQLed one). Unpack the driver with 7-zip (winrar should work too); don't select "extract here", select "extract files" and OK - this way all whats inside the package will be extracted to a single folder;
    2. Go to "Display.Driver" folder and find "nv_disp.inf" file (if there is none with that name there must be something else that starts with nv_ and have inf extension); open with notepad, but better option is to use notepad++ or pspad for it;
    3. Inside there are two sections of interest: one that lists all supported gpus by their IDs and one that tells how to name those IDs (simply put);
    So, first thing would be to get your gpus ID: hit ctrl+f and search for your gpu; for example searching the inf for GTX 670 you will find this:
    Code:
    NVIDIA_DEV.1189 = "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670"
    Now, searching for NVIDIA_DEV.1189 will lead you to this:
    Code:
    %NVIDIA_DEV.1189%           = Section007, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1189
    Scroll up to see under which section it is: SetA_Devices.NTamd64.6.0, 6.1 or 6.2 - pick the one that is for your system (see below).
    Copy those lines somewhere for future use.
    4. Unpack a driver that does not support you GPU, unpack, open inf file and find one of these sections:
    [NVIDIA_SetA_Devices.NTamd64.6.0] - if using vista, notice its for 64 bit, if the driver is 32 bit it would be something like x86, instead of amd64;
    [NVIDIA_SetA_Devices.NTamd64.6.1] - for windows 7
    [NVIDIA_SetA_Devices.NTamd64.6.2] - for winodws 8
    Under one of those sections, depends on your operating system, paste:
    Code:
    %NVIDIA_DEV.1189%           = Section007, PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1189
    5. At the end of the inf file is section called [Strings], here paste:
    Code:
    NVIDIA_DEV.1189 = "NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670"
    6. Save and install.

    Thank you Cyberdyne.

    Thanks for the stock photo.

    You should still learn how to CTRL+F and copy-paste.

    Thanks for the driver/inf

    Hopefully this fixes the problem that cropped up in the 302.80 and it isn't because these are windows 8 drivers, could be a flash issue too!

    Thank you Stasio for posting this driver, i like quadros :) and thx Cyberdyne for the modded inf.

    Installed normally on top of 302.80 which where fine too tho.

    Well im not in a hurry installing windows 8 and i find them very good on 7:

    All eye candy settings on, cpu @ 4,5Ghz no OC on the graphic card
    Metro2033: average 27 / max 55 / min 9
    X3TC rolling demo: 77.57
    BatmanAC: min 29 / max 115 / average 74
    TESV: never under 50
    Heaven 3.0: FPS 40.8 / score: 1028 / min fps 12.0 max 104.5

    So far so good
