I have 6XV-133 Superpower Mother board. I need to use a serial trackball mouse connected to one of the onboard DB9 serial ports and it works fine. But I am not alloweed to unplug the PS/2 mouse. The system reboots after the first test is performed (right before the Windows splash screen appears). "Disable PS/2" in the BIOS Setup does not help. Is there any way to make the system work without PS/2 Mouse attached?
You can get a Serial port adapter for your PS/2 mouse. This will allow the mouse to plug into the Serial port.
Thank you for such a quick reply, but I do not need a serial port adapter, because this MB has two of them OnBoard an they work fine for my needs. I just need to disable PS/2 port test.
Thanks.

This message was edited by Yan on 12 May 2001 10:07 AM
