    Hello,
im using 8600GT, and i changed my drivers from 158 to 169.21.
i used to overclock the VC with VDOTOOL / Rivatuner, but since i installed the new drivers i cant overcklock it no more!
when i right click the VDOTOOL the overclocking option disappeard and when i go to rivatuner, it also removed the option for overclocking.

    what do i do now?

    thanx!

Hey and thanks for the answers =]
VDOTOOL is a program that came with my PALIT 8600GT...
    nice one,
and can use it to overclock.

so you are saying that rivatuner wont support the new NVIDIA drivers?
i changed back the drivers to 158.19 and its working perfectly

    what can i do?

a guy from HWZONE told me he had that problem before and that i need to add some line in the CFG file for Rivatuner...he told me to ask here,
    so...here i am.

    thanx!

Sometimes in order for Overclocking to work you need to force driver versions. To do this go to the “Power User” tab in RivaTuner.
Expand the “RivaTuner \ System” option.
After you have expanded the option, scroll down until you find “ForceDriverVersion”. Double click on the collumn next to it and type in the driver version. Example: nvidia driver 158.19 would be 15819
Then click the check icon, click Ok or Apply and restart RivaTuner.
