    Hi,

I've got a XFX HD5970, attached via a dual-link dvi adapter to an apple cinema display. It's attached to the duallink port on the gfx card but for some reason in windows it simply will not give me any greater resolution then 1280x720.

I'm fairly certain it's a windows driver issue, as in Mac os x the gfx card happily puts out the full resolution.

I've tried various catalyst drivers (11.12, 12.2, 12.3, 12.4) but none seem to allow it to get up to the right resolution. Even manually adding the resolution to the list via regedit isn't working.

Anyone have any idea what drivers would be best to use ? also it's windows 7 64bit.

    any help much appreciated.
