First of all, thanks for reading this and actually being interested in helping me. I'm not really good with computer's, so ill just tell you step by step what I did.

Recently, my computer was having some problems, keyboard wise, sound card also, nothing really related to the graphics card or anything. So, I just got it back from the store, and it came a little different from what I expected it to be. No Skype installed, no HP utilities, and the Intel card name changed...

I thought nothing of it, and went to do what I normally do after the computer get's cleaned up, which is updating the graphics card. So I went o leshcats lab, and downloaded the most recent one "Leshcat’s Catalyst 13.9 WHQL Public Testing Update 2" and tried to install. Everything when right until the AMD Setup started, and an error popped up saying that it couldn't install the package, but the installation didn't stop there, it continued. It rebooted, and in the end some stuff where messed up, and this message on the lower right corner appeared saying "Test Mode Windows 7 Compilation 7601".

I thought it was a problem with compatibility of the package with the computer, so I went and downloaded the one after the one I just had installed, "Leshcat’s Catalyst 13.8 Beta I UnifL for AMD+Intel Powered Laptops ". Same error, couldn't install the package, BUT the setup continued. The computer rebooted, everything was the same. So I decided to go to the BIOS, and put the computer under FIXED mode, to see if it would work. But then, I downloaded the stable version (or so I think) of Leshcats releases, "Leshcat’s Catalyst 13.4 WHQL UnifL v2 for AMD+Intel Powered Laptops".

Everything worked fine. Thing is, the computer is kinda messed up now. I can't choose which GPU I wanna use, I can't change any settings... the only thing that I can do is use this "HydraGrid" thing... I don't know what to do D:

I'm kinda in panic right now, and I can't format my computer like I used to because the HP Format thing is not here anymore, because they had to change the hard drive for a new one.

    Specs:

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bits
    Fabricant: Hewlett-Packard
Model: HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC
    BIOS InsydeH2O Version 03.60.48F.1B
    Processor: Intel Core i7-2639QM CPU @ 2.00GHz
    RAM: 4GB
    DirectX 11
Chip type: AMD Radeon Graphics Processor
Name: AMD Radeon HD 6700M/7700M/7900M Series

Also, could someone help me finding out which drivers are the best for me to download? Thank you...

So you have Switchable graphics right?

    First of all do this:

    Download Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU)

    1. Boot into safemode, uninstall your AMD driver via the option 'Highly recommend' after that it automatically boots back to the normal mode, also make sure you uninstall your Intel driver.

    2. Than, download this AMD driver:

    http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=384440

Name: AMD Catalyst 13.12 Mobility (Revision 13.25) Switchable Graphics Fix Driver

    Modified by LeekM.

    3. Follow the guideline in what to do, in how to install the AMD driver.

Also install the latest Intel driver available for your Intel card.

Omg thank you so much, I will do that. Where can I find the latest Intel driver, by the way?

And how do I uninstall the Intel driver? And I'm still in test mode D:

It depends on what your motherboard is. If it's an Intel MB, then it's Intel.
If not, it's AMD. The APU is AMD.
Find out what it is before you download and try to install it.
Since you have said that your CPU is Intel, go with the Intel download and install that.

Uninstall Intel driver normally in system - remove software.
In safe mode then you can use Driver Fusion to clean Intel and AMD drivers (also with the DDU).

Intel drivers you can find on their site. Version depend on the graphic (gen1/2/3/4)...

I think it didn't work. I installed the AMD driver, but when I try to open Catalyst Control Center it says that there are no AMD drivers installed. My screen is stuckk at 1024 X 768. I tried to install AMD thing again, but when I'm done and restart my computer, I get the blue screen. D:

    Hmm,

did you use DDU? (Driver Display Uninstaller)

If you did not, please use it in safe-mode.

I see that the AMD driver doesn't work for you, I'm going to give you this Version:

    http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=383936

AMD Catalyst 13.11 Mobility BetaV9.4 SG. Fix Driver

This driver version worked for most of the people.

Also for the intel card, just uninstall it via the programs/uninstall method and install the newest driver available for your card.

What Intel Videocard version do you have?

    HD 1000/2000/3000/4000/5000?

    Sorry for the late response!

I did use the DDU in safe mode. I installed the driver in normal mode, should I do it in safe mode 2? Thank you for the new driver, I'll proceed to install it.

It didnt work either. I don't know what else to do, Im getting kinda desperate here... This time it opens the Catalyst Control center, but the only thing I can do it use that HydraGrid thing. My computer is still at 1024X768

I can said that format+reinstall windows is the fastest ways to fix it.

And, did you change the "fixed mode" back to "switchable mode"?

Maybe the 6770M isn't supported by official drivers? (one of the OEM?)

No, It's still under fixed mode. The thing is I don't know if I can format the computer, because recently the hard drive had to be replaced, and the one I had by default had the HP Recovery Thingy, which I don't have anymore.

Or just download iso of windows and install with your key so you will take off the bloatware installed by HP...

    Try switchable mode?
As you are using Fixed mode, then you might having issues on AMD driver, which get control or monitor now.
If you are using switchable mode, then Intel will manage the monitor.

And remember, clean & reinstall driver after you changed it.
