    I'm running a 6700K @ 4.7ghz @3.6v and a Corsair H100i Extreme, and with prime 26.6, I can run it for 24 hours with no problems.

With the latest Prime 95 (forgotten the version), core 2 reaches 83 degrees within about 10 minutes.

Is there a significant difference between the two? Is Prime 95 v 26.6 reliable. I've been using it to stress test my system for some time now and I have not run into any problems. I can even run at 4.8Ghz at 3.75v with no problems.

I have also ran ROG RealBench, and temps don't reach above 80 degrees.

Even at 4.6ghz at 3.2v the latest prime 95 craps out on my system.

I realise that this is not "real world" as I use my system primarily for gaming, and rarely do the cores run at 100%, but I do like my system to be stable and I never have a problem with temps gaming. BTW ambient room temp is between 20 and 22 degrees C.

Any suggestions/thoughts on why this is happening with the latest version of Prime 95, would be appreciated.

    Thank you.
