I figure I create a separate thread to show improvements in the DirectX 11 games that you're playing with this new driver update. In particular if you want to show before and after screenshots or videos. Showing you Radeon Card.

Witcher 3 gives 10fps more on Previous Driver than 22.5.1

God Of War is around 5fps more but WAY less stutter (it still had some stutter even after they patched the game)

    Cyberpunk is around 15fps more

All above at High - Ultra settings 1440p.

CSGO is the same (who cares, runs at 500-900fps depending on map)

Need to test more but this is a strong start. Gonna download Crysis Remastered and give it a whirl.

Unpopular opinion, this isn't fine wine. Fine wine is when hardware performs consistently well over time. This is fixing a performance deficit that should have been available from the beginning

While I agree on your sentiment, I also think that this is the result of AMD coming out of the red, and being able to afford to hire better development talent on their software. Also it takes time to pin down bottlenecks for same-said new talent and to acclimate to the code base.

This is really part of the reason, they can now spend the time and money more on fixing issues that has been such a problem for so long. Glad to finally see improvements like this being done at least.

I'm seeing an improvement in framerates and performance in games dx9 games, opengl games, dx11 games etc. But i can't use newer drivers on my radeon pro w5500, colors on video / video quality looks washed out and degrading compared to older drivers. its a weird bug with the radeon pro w5500, older drivers using the older cp has way better video quality / colors compared to any driver that uses the newer cp. idk lol.

will look forward to these drivers once i buy a w6600, hopefully that issue won't show up. But yea these drivers are very nice.

Not the greatest selection of games that shows noticeable fps boost, but still nice.

Even at 4k some of the increase is nice. 1080p/1440p would be even better.

I tried the May driver on my 5700 XT, R5 3600 on W11.

Tested Rise and Shadow of the Tomb Raider in both DX11 and DX12, given both of these games can become seriously CPU limited in some areas in DX11.

I've yet to test the difference between say 22.5.1 and May, however I can't say DX11 is now drastically closer to DX12. I'll post some results later.
