PPD for the 5000 series Radeon cards???

    I have not used win7 yet but try the idea from folding help and put in xp compatible mode like with Vista.

    It is not just ATI that is not completing folds. My Nvidia has failing at :whip: 90% but get credit for the 90% that is uploaded. Ones I am failing are the new ones so, more than likely, something is wrong with them.

    Ill try that once im finished with my exams, im right in the middle of it now, so cant really waist time to debug this issue.

    folding for 3-4 days now on Windows 7 x64 Retail boxed (yup i got it for my birthday :D ) and no problems appart from every now and then a 5-10 sec pc freeze (mouse pointer still moving)

    just folding on gpu2 and disabling gpu1 stops the random freezing..

    sad really when im folding on my 4870x2 ati gpu2 2023ppd and my sons 8800gtx 5258ppd

    im half and half about ati stream update for f@h as if they do use the ATI stream efficiently then that creates more heat and hard work the reason for my 280gtx failures 100% usage 24/7 killed them both and a 1kw thermaltake psu..

    I only get 2923PPD on my OC'ed 4890. Not sure why it is so low but thats what FaHMON is telling me.

    according to FAHMON, I'm getting ~2 - 2.1k PPD but the GPU is running @ ~ 40-50% only.

    lucky you i only get 575 on my hd2600xt @ 99% + 50%cpu

    oh happy happy joy joy joy i got rid of the HD2600xt and bought a nice new HIS HD5770 and it's plodin along doin 2275ppd vs the 575ppd max the old HD2600xt used to get
    win7 x64 + Catalyst 9.12 hotfix and the forcegpu ati_r700 switch

    from 3am to 9am it cranked out 2x 384pt and 1x 511pt WU's with an
    Avg. Time / Frame : 2mn 55s - 2522.88 ppd:pc1:

    wow just took a look in F@HMon and its reportin
    Avg. Time / Frame : 1mn 48s - 3072.00 ppd :banana:

    and i'm now into the 10K point margin headin for the 20K in a big rush :bounce:

    well it's now the 4th of January 2010 and im nearly into 30k not bad considering when i had my shunty old hd26ooxt in and foldin it was going to take me six months to get to where i am now :paranoid:

    TADA ..... 30k mark reached today 5-1-2010
