You already have seen the ASUS Strix, but some photos of the PowerColor AMD R9 285 from TUL are now live as well. The Tonga based card comes with 2GB of GDDR5 graphics memory and has a factory-over... PowerColor Shows Radeon R9 285 TurboDuo
Great pricing from AMD! Lots of card.... Sweet Spot, though: $199.... It'll get there. Want to see new steamroller multicore cpu & new core logic chipset from AMD this year to support PCIex3.0 (no APUs involved.) AMD has tied up the low & middle-end markets pretty well; and it's won the high-end gpu races, imo; now it's time to set sights on the top of the x86 gaming pantheon with a new AMD 3.x PCIe-supporting/USB3.x-supporting core-logic chipset with an appropriate 6-8-10 core Steamroller-based cpu--and a new socket to support (if, that is, AM3+ or FX+ won't get it!) Indeed, the only place where Intel exceeds AMD in raw performance is in the high-end x86 cpu markets--AMD has bested them once, can do so again if it makes the effort. (Putting a lot of eggs in turning ARM cpus into servers may or may not pan out, that remains to be determined.)
