It's funny. AMD rebrands the Hawaii R9 290 series to the Grenada R9 390 series. Its close ally - PowerColor follows suits and rebrands its TurboDuo dual-fan cooling solution to PCS+!

Owning a R9 290 TurboDuo, I can tell you TurboDuo is fairly weak - unable to tame Hawaii, despite HARDOPS's claims.

It is a smart move of PowerColor to only put triple fan (real) PCS+ triple-fan cooling solution on Hawaii (Granada) in this generation. Last generation, they sold both (real) PCS+ & TurboDuo R9 290(X) at similar prices. Poor bast**ds like me got the inferior version by mistake and got FURIOUS. (Pun is intended):bang:

TurboDuo ("fake" PCS+) is only good for more efficient cores like Tonga (Antigua).

Gosh, I am laughing hard. We have a "1998 Godzilla" situation here. Zilla is not Godzilla. TurboDuo is not PCS+!
