Not a single bit of it is even applicable to this thread. Most of it isn't even accurate. NTFS was introduced around 1993, but that's irrelevant to the data loss issue. The data loss comes from the fact that harddrives cache data before writing it to the platters. If power is lost before the data can be written to the platters, the data is lost. Has nothing to do with the file system. Has to do with limitations of harddrives and cache. DirectX wasn't initially supported in WinNT, so Win9x was the only viable option for DX based games. If power supplies don't receive proper power, they don't supply proper power to the system. Fact of computing (and electronics in general). Yeah....I cracked open a Bud Light..... Was gonna go for some Rum & Coke....but I don't like warm Coke.
For Cognac yeah.. lol. I feel that, big fan of the spiced stuff. Need a few ice cubes in my glass though.
The Coke still has to be cold first, else the ice melts too fast. Watered down Rum doesn't taste right.
I run a bottle of coke in the freezer until semi frozen, use a mid-size glass. Three hard rocks and a measure of coke, and double of rum meeting two thirds of the glass height. Glorious!
Cognac is expensive here. Even the cheap stuff. I usually drink stuff like Crown Royal, Southern Comfort, Jagermeister, Vodka, Tequilla... cheap stuff. Probably got a gallon of Vodka in the house right now.
I love SoCo as a day by day drink tbh. Gorgeous stuff! IF you get the chance though, grab yourself some Cognac.
I've been hitting the liquor store about once a month so I'll probably be there next weekend. Will have to see how small a bottle I can get. Stuff that's easy to find runs about $25-$45 a bottle.
Missed all the drinking talk when I went to bed. Anyways with some rest and a clear head I decided to reread a certain posters comments and came to the conclusion of "dafuk am I reading?"
