Hello All!! I got this card(dead both bios)was used as a miner, looking to bios flash it but cant? What I tried I have a formatted USB jump drive(Rufus), Atiflash, and the original bios. My rig is a bench setup, no hard drive, Z97, Intel dual core CPU, 8gb of memory. The unit boots off the jump drive but will not acknowledge the ATI commands? I followed the instructions from Techpower up bios flash? My last hair just came out of my head, help please And Thank you!!!
Are you using the correct ATIFlash for your card? Are you also using a 2nd card to see with, or onboard video?
I'm using the Igpu on board for display, my 570 in first PCI-e slot. I guess I'll try an older version. The first PCI-e is 0 correct? Also might you have a link to a "Walk Through" for atiflash?I'm using amdvbflash version 3.20, was trying to do this in windows..... Thank you!!
Alright so for what ever reason, when I go to open it it says can't find AMD discreet adaptor. Thought I had fixed the card removing a dead short.....
Yeah, funny part is I have 2 red devil's 8gb and it doesn't see them either, so maybe need a different version?
Yeah already tried a different slot, no go. So I was just trying to get my computer to "see" my GPU. Again I have 4 I bought that are former miners, so I seated my donner 570 that I took the IC off of. I felt the back of the main chip getting hot as the boarder booted so I shut it down n decided to swap back the IC chip I had borrowed, Boom the programmer saw the card. I used my original atiflash, now gonna do the back up too and load some drivers. I may go fishing for more GPU's in my 2 470 red devils or flee bay...I'll post back more soon, Again thank you as you helped the process along!!!!
So I changed the title as I have 2 red devil 470 8gb cards, the system won't see them. So not sure how to proceed here. Tried different PCI-e slots, the system boot with them in, so pretty sure these are still.
Good^ I cant get the ativbflash to see them, reddevil 470s. Need a budge, even tried loading drivers first, no go.
