Bench marks are in my sig with the same set-up as on the right ---> Counter-strike source stress test 130+ fps I'm not sure what my stock beches are as i overclocked it straight out of the box. All on stock cooling! Chief. P.S. How about posting your own!
Using 77.13b - Aquamark 77247 GFX score 12,582 CPU score 10,001 - 3Dmark05 9108 - 3Dmark03 19187 (note using older drivers) - Doom3 timedemo 1280x1024 2xAA no/AF High Quality 100FPS i really do need to work on my system... its not overclocked i have'nt tweaked it in any way...
I have just make a run of test bench you can find in Couterstrike/HL2 (not guru bench) it' s speed to do: so at 1024x768 all max on cfg, but no AA and no AF: 150.3 FPS. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Guru3d Bench, details max., no AA, no AF: .-----edit: i have redo test, the HT was on 3x not on 5x. demo 5: - 1024x 768 : 161. - 1280x1024: 153.8 demo 6: -1024x 768 : 197.7 -1280x 1024: 174.4

Marri your Aqua score is low for Sli 6800GT, I have a single 6800nu (not enough money to buy a second 6800nu ) and its getting 74,000+
Doom3 timedemo demo 1 1 ---1280x1024 4xAA, 16x AF High Quality 75-77 FPS depending on forceware drivers.. 3Dmark 2005 8600-9000 depending on forceware drivers.. Source engine stress test ---1280x1024 4xAA, 16x AF Everything maxed out 138-145 FPS depending on forceware drivers..
Doom 3 totally stock was 85fps @4aa,8af ultra quality 1280x1024 lcd mon 114fps @0aa/0af Counter strike stress test was 185fps all settings cranked i think not sure if that was ultra's or 66gt's 1280x1024 system and cards stock again Fear have not played it yet Far cry don’t know ut04 don’t know haven’t played for quite awhile now Just sold the ultra's Marri going for a x850xt let you know how it go's in games compared to the sli set up, should get it monday was not that impressed with the ultra's good bench marking but not that flash in games not worth the $1800 they cost me
10,100 3dmark05 stock, no overclocking...and dropping. my scores keep getting lower and lower as i move up in forceware versions

hell, i have a x800xl 256 oc'ed to 456:1116 and i get 120. And i run at 1024x768, all max, directx 9... EDIT** Opps, my bad, im running it on directx 8, but i did a directx 9 test and goto 95.50fps

Is that everything stock? I really am not *amazed* by 7800GTX scores on 3dm05. I get 10,300 stock, and as u can see over 11k overclocked, and thats not really pushing my ultras that far. Its bizarre that there isnt more of an increase. Would have expected at least 13k @ stock in SLI. Must be CPU limit or something.
Hey no need to feel sorry marri i did it on purpose! The x850xt pe is like wow, farcry and hl2 is simply amazing looking with it doom is as smooth as a babys bum flat out ut04 is the same and just finished pariah smooth as I am impressed how this thing runs very happy with it will do me fine till 520 comes out if its not to long a way. The score i have see for 2x 7800GTX in SLI mode is really more impressive...around the 15'000... OC...
Yeah, thats overclocked Lane, im just really suprised that its not higher @ stock. I mean, I get pretty much double the performance with my Ultras (over a single card) in 05 @ stock, and the GTX's arent showing anywhere near that scalability. Again, the same is in 03 - around 26k in stock for a GTX, I get around 21-22k stock, so its not that much of a boost. All I can think of to explain is one of 2 things: a) SLI for 7800GTX isnt fully optimised yet b) we have hit a serious CPU bottleneck. Anyhow, all i can say is I wont be getting a 7800GTX SLI set up. There is no point for me. I have a new Viewsonic TFT coming tomorrow that can do 1600x1200, and im sure my ultras are more than capable of that in everygame everything on full - what extra benifit would u get from the GTX's?
