    Thanks!

Yeah, it is. At first I was gonna but the LCD version as it was 40% cheaper.

However, I had enough to get the better & newer LED edition, so I said FUKC it, I'm gonna get the LED one...

All I can say is it's the BEST tv I have EVER owned......

Even old games such as CS Source look amazing, the green grass is SOOOO green and the blood is SOOOOOO red, it's really punchy, wicked colours and contrast....

    Movies look even better. :D

I will post a few screenshots of CS Source, and if your TV is calibrated/setup properly then these screenshots will come to life... :)

ps. These screenshots look $hit on my laptop screen, lol, no comparison...

On a Vierra ips panel, it is in a league of it's own.

Try looking at the following screens BOTH on your quality screen and then again on a standard laptop screen with washed away colours...

You referring to my cooler? Haha.

If you really want one I can get you one and ship it. It will cost £70 including shipping.

There are many of them here in Dubai & I can get another one tomorrow if I wanted to, let me know...

No probs... If your very patient I'm actually going to London for a 2 week holiday in september...

Been working almost 6 months and cannot take a holiday before 6 months and if I do it's unpaid. :(

Anyway, no rush, think about it.

Sorry guys for going off track...

@Johnny87u, yeah, it was actually Server who recommended me get the screen, especially the newer LED version...

Thanks to him I bought one. I haven't seen Server online for a while, guess he's been busy...

The screens from CS Source for example, look blurred, weak colour and no detail whatsoever in the environment or guns...

On my IPS panel the guns are shiny, have reflections and detail, the grass is very green, etc....

I wish I could show other laptop users I know the difference....

Strange thing when you use laptops for gaming/graphics, while they look ok, you then compare the very same game/image to that on a proper screen and you will be blown away by the results...

    Just so much detail missing...

Quite a few people on here have a panasonic ips panel or a sony bravio tv...

With the smaller screens most others have LG, Samsung, Benq or Dell since they make panels smaller than 30''...

I got mine for a GREAT price, come to exactly £384 or $626 (US dollar)

Strange why you say your screen doesn't look that great with desktop colouring, I think mine looks fantastic.

The blacks are very black & the whites are very white, strong & colourful...

You just gotta play around with the settings...

@dcx_badass, I used to have a similar LG screen as yourself, same shape & design but it was the larger 27'' screen having built in free view...

It was expensive but GREAT, cost me around £280 at the time...

Pics from ages ago when just got it (but nothing else has changed), taken off the sticker but left plastic on as I'm a student so it gets carted around the country home and stuff and already scratched my old monitor (not used anymore), so don't want to wreck another.

Yeah it's a good screen, mine was £185 two years ago now, I don't use any of the tuners in either screen as can't get a signal here (no idea why, even roof aerial can't and I'm in a city centre and neighbours can, am in some weird dead zone, but not too bothered, just watch online).
