Thanks for all the replies and suggestions guys, but:

As avivoni's pic (well done and I hope you polished that speaker after fitting that door) shows, the concertina doors have gaps all around them and won't stop much sound escaping the room, which is important.

On the other side of the wall that the TV is mounted on is our office, so no room for a sliding door to "pocket" into there, to have the sliding door come the other way would mean moving electrical points and light fittings / cables and the bed would have to come out into the room a bit to allow space for the door to slide and I have little enough floorspace as is.

As for the other side of the door there is only a narrow passage that is only a couple of inches wider than the door frame itself, so no room for sliding doors etc there either.

The only way is for me to stop being lazy, dig out my tools and get the door mounted on the other side of the door frame, which won't be long now as the door bounced back again this afternoon and whacked me right on the snout, again.

Am now taking my sore pleb to New Vegas to shoot the shat out of the NCR (bad char playthru).

    Thanks again guys.

Nice, I have that Cosmos case as well. It will always be one of my favorite enclosures of all time. I really hope that they don't just discontinue it and just give it a remake with some updates. Would like to see a painted interior, hot swappable hard drive and better cable management. Case came out 4 or 5 years ago and was way ahead of its time.

Eeh... i was never really much of a fan of the Cosmos S. They took some of the features that were key in the Cosmos out, and basically made it like any other CoolerMaster case. Mostly the way the hard drives were mounted and the sound proofing. Not really big on windows anymore, either. I've had one... and dust filter or not, crap still manages to cram it's way in somehow or another.

Hmm... just realised you're from A-town. I'm in little old Lehighton. For all we know, we may have crossed paths at some point and don't know it. haha. Dust will get crammed into the case no matter how many filters you have, ESPECIALLY if you have negative pressure in your case. I still remember using an Ultra Aluminus case with an Aerocool Xtreme Turbine fan as my exhaust, and not much else in terms of fans. I'd find dust wedged between the drive bay covers and around the edges of the front of the case.

    Isnt that Commandos ???

Also does the Netbook have dedicated video card ? The new AMD Fusion based one from Acer is great. Bought it for my parents to carry around and they love it. Plus it plays some older game titles without a hitch. (HL2)

    :D commandos indeed.

the netbook features nvidia Ion (gaming) + intel 3150 (windows desktop), i get up to 80fps in some older games like MOHAA maxed out, also between 25-40fps in Fear combat @ medium settings etc in general i can run most games at okay fps, except Crysis and gta4.

tried the intel 3150... slideshow and some games wont even run lol
