If u have the right tools is not that hard, is just pacience and time ... I will recommend you practice with a older PSU and then when u got some experience go for your actual PSU.
In my case took me a lot of time because i can't find the tools in my country. So i used a 5mm LED to remove the ATX/EPS pins and a radio antenna for the molex:nerd:

Thanks, I'm not up to that stage of rig building yet, one day maybe, but for now when I have some spare cash it gets spent on performance rather than looks atm

The cables I custom braided myself. It takes some patience and is time consuming but it's worth it in the end!

They look very smart, maybe next build / case I might invest in some, atm my case only has a honeycomb window in the side and a fan covers that, so not much point in making it look nice inside right now

Thanks Lucifer... watercooling isn't that hard really, just takes a bit of patience and concentration. Great fun though... becomes a hobby all of its own!

You are correct in your assumption LOL

I have a mini project on the go at the moment where im trying to remove as much heat from two of these in crossfire without spending gazillions on a new case or water-cooling.

I'm not a fan of coolers that just blow hot air everywhere, even with good exhaust.

In the end, i'll probably have to bite the bullet and just fork out the cash, but no harm in trying first ;)

Sorry Doom, but are people allowed to enjoy the products they work with and have lives outside their job? Calm down and post in the proper thread.

Anyone wondering why i have two PSU? well i'm low on cash now & can't buy a new PSU now, so that have to do.

That cable can enable me 380w + 500w together. 380w for CPU & etc then 500w for GPU only.
