Yeah I've always loved Infinities also. The price/performance the Polks have is just a little bit more enticing.

And as far as subs go, I love my Sony sub. I forget it's frequency range right off the top of my head. I do know that it goes very low (like around 12hz?) and it's turned down to about 50% so it doesn't overpower my Bose. Even if I had some better speakers I don't think I'd replace it because it already shakes my kitchen cabinets and my big mirror over my fireplace. Might be just too dangerous

I like the classic two tower setup. Great for music..... I wish I had the room for stereo and a 5.1 setup.

i bought them used in '87.
they are '82 TAMA Superstars with Super Mahogony finish (the same ones Stewart Copeland, Neil Peart, Simon Phillips were using back in the day). it's really a 6 piece, just set-up 5 right now. Sabian cymbols and a Pearl double kick pedal.

This image is a little dark - but here goes anyways. :)

this was taken from my "office" which is the back of our L sectioned livingroom, essentially... the TV is a Sony KP-53HS30 which does 4:3 and 16:9 native! best of both worlds... although, @ 16:9 it's more like a 48" wide screen, but it's still pretty big. :) 7.1 DTS by Yamaha RXV-1400 with a Paradigm cx200 center, Infinity RS-3's for front and back, and side channels are Warfdale bi-poles... the Sub is a Definitive PowerField 15 500watts continuous (1000 peak) 15" front firing, rear ported... that baddie rocks!! whew... :)

the matrix screen saver on the TV is from my modded Xbox... I stream mp3's to it all day (netgear "g" bridge) for tunes un the "main" part of the apartment. :)

EDIT: Oh yeah - 7 disk JVC progressive scan DVD player hooked with monster cable component video cables... wow did that make a difference... very sharp! :)

    CSI DVD-boxes, drool...

Hmm yeah, we don't have anything that nice, but it seems that you own that all yourself so...
Damn I want HDTV too, but it will take years to arrive and more years to make my father buy a TV that can use that technology.

Here is our livingroom, we need a Hard disk digital receiver, these VHS's are just so awful. BTW that tv is almost 15 years old, I've watched it my whole life... Good for it's age, but AV-in is crappy.

Hmm, I first took images without Flash, but with flash they are actually better with my camera.
